Fact is that Ireland decided to turn its back on Bulgaria and Chile, who have been loyal Irish friends fro ages and instead play with Argentina. There is no judgement here, simply disappointment. Ireland today is standing alone. How would they rebuild the bridges is entirely up to them. Admitting it was a mistake n sayin sorry would be a good start.

Boyan, saying that Ireland turned their back on us is simply wrong. They were one of the few countries who stood up for us when we were having problems with the EDEN HQ and even after we left the alliance, they never fought against us and neither did we.

Chile? Loyal friends of Ireland? Not sure that's entirely true compared with Argentina. As for Ireland the founder member of CoT, that idea died when Chewie left.

Let's get one thing straight, Ireland doesn't have anything with Chile. We've been loyal to Bulgaria and consider them to be friends, just like the US. But we aren't brothers with Chile.

I don't see this as columbia's fault. We've been betrayed and left by ecountries we've been loyal to. I feel she did a fine job in a trying time, and it's not eIreland that has done wrong here.

Paddy this was only a trying time because MUFCs government decided to push on with a referendum...they did this because they were blinded by crap CUA would have told them.

It has been shown numerous times how they favored joining an alliance that didn't even exist when they said we should join, add to it Argentina's liking of jumping between alliances was clear for everyone to see.

Finally CUA+I was a disaster. I´m very disappointed about Colombian and Argentinian governments, because as you can see, Ireland and Uruguay were marooned.

I just have words of gratitude and respect for our brother country, Ireland.

We (Uruguay and Ireland) have something in common. At least we can say that we are loyal to our allies.
We can say we honour our word and our commitment is everything.

You were not the sole responsible of this all. While such claim is honorable, it cannot stand. While other governement members were surely involved, I remember numerous articles from the CP glorifying CUA, we must also remember people voted massively to join CUA.

I need to take the blame,CP is usually so occupied with other stuff that he leaves everything in his/her minsters and I was Minister of Foreing Affairs so I will have to take the whole responsibility for this,not the previous CP and even more not that the current CP

It's not your fault. As you said things are changing and the relations between countries are very rare this days.
Nobody (at least I think so) could predict things going this way one or two month before.

I just can talk from Uruguay and here you can be sure you have a trusted ally and people with word as we've demostrated as a country in all our time in this game, and for the things we've shared this months we can be sure you are too.

I don't know if you should be the one to take all of the blame. It was a mistake. I know many eAustralians including myself were a little sceptical of entering into any sort of alliance with eArgentina given their past when we were asking if eIreland was interested in the prospect of joining NaN. Plus, the fact that CUA was not an in-game alliance only made eIreland's decision even more confusing in my opinion. I can say that eAustralia still holds eIreland to be an ally and our government hold no negative feelings towards you. We had to go through the same thing with CoT and completely understand where you guys are coming from.

I'm afraid you didn't make the decision to join CUA in a bubble, the previous administration has responsibility for it as much as you personally do.

You had no part in the decision Argentina and Columbia made to become servants of TWO in the voiceless ACT alliance of puppets. You did not know beforehand that they would switch sides.

This is 100% NOT your fault.
The choice to change sides sits squarely on the shoulders of the Argentina/Columbia leaderships.

Argentina have changed sides numerous times. They have jumped in and out of alliances quickly. They have done this in every single alliance they have ever been involved with. We raised these points in congress at the time but we were ignored.

One of the reasons I voted against joining CUA in the first place. But that still does not make this turn of events the fault of Columbia. Surely you agree, that she bears no "guilt" in the turn of events. She made well-intentioned recommendations. She should not be holding herself responsible for the choices of Argentinean leadership.

Joining a group in South America when one of the main members jumps between alliances more than the UK use to back stab, the people who were flooding the media with Pro CUA crap are the ones to blame along with MUFC and his MoFA team who were proven to be biased towards CUA.

We all remember the logs on Chews article show what Colombia though about Ireland joining CUA and how they biasedly ran the referendums.

We must seriously reevaluate our options.

Sorry to say that some of us knew this was very likely to happen and we did warn about it in congress at the time. Argentina have always turned quickly when it comes to alliances. The only surprise here is that Ireland blindly jumped in with a country with such a bad track record.
