My opinion of Ben and J

OK, let's look at the facts (from my point of view)
The channers 'appointed J and Ben as ministers in the cabinet. Neither one of them said they accepter nor did they decline the positions. If it was me in that same position, I'd rather take my chances with the channers ang go with the flow than exposing myself to hacking like what happened to Innes. In that case I'm a chicken-shit. Maybe that is what J and Ben felt like. Can't speak for them though. Robert on the other hand begged for a position in Roneli's cabinet, what does that make him?
Ben was an ass in IRC, we all know that now, but how does that make him a channer? Would a channer beg on his knees to be part of the community again? I think not. They would find another way to get back in.
J has a name that pisses alot of people of because it is blasphemous... but does that make him a channer?
As fot Tpex's list, the list was one that he made up of people and org's that HE thinks are threats/channers/multies.
Why for crying out loud did no want want to believe that Ronel was part of the channers until it was proven otherwise? She was innocent until proven guilty, why not the same with J and Ben? There was more evidence against Ronel being guilty than there is against J and Ben being guilty. Why not treat this case on the same merits?
I'll tell you why not. Because Ben and J was outspoken from day 1. They talked about what they were feeling and what they did not like. They were controversial. People formed an opinion of them and it was not a good one. On the other hand, Ronel befriended you guys with promises of tea and cookies (figuratively speaking)and then came from behind while you were having your tea and cookies and ran right over you with her big foot. She made a good impression on you guys and you did not believe that she could 'turn'.
It is much easier to believe the worst from someone you don't like or agree with than to believe that from someone you actually like. And look where that got us.
Thus far I stand behind Ben and J 100%. They ARE innocent of being in on the PTO until proven guilty.

I have been supporting Jisses and Ben from day one.
It's simple. Like you said, they were controversial and didn't back down. The "Elite" don't like them, naturally, since they are a threat.
Does this make them Channers? No, of course not.
Thing is, the Channers KNEW how the "Elite" would react if Ben and Jisses were to be implicated in the plot.
It was a calculated move to ostracise Ben and Jisses even more that they already are.
And, it's quick and east to turn around and say: "Roneli helped the Channers, so obviously Ben and Jisses did too".
As for Robert, I'm still not sure about the guy.
I think he's just out to stir some sh1t, so to speak. I think he's harmless enough.
Regardless, I also stand by Jisses and Ben until irrefutable proof can be brough against them.
This pathetic pointing of fingers and name-calling is what got eSA into this mess. And it wouldn't surprise me if it was the same reason for the previous failures.

It's all in the pronounciation.
Us Afrikaans people also say and spell it as Jesus (silent J). But, in order to "not sound blasphemous and failing miserably" many Afrikaners started saying Jisses (Spelling can vary).
So really, it's just slang. Doesn't surprise me that very few people would pick up on it.
