My Manifesto

Day 670, 14:34 Published in Ireland Ireland by Edana Savage

Ok. NOW it is time. 😉

This is my first opportunity to run for Congress. That does not mean that I do not have experience. Nor does it mean that I don't have ideas to move Ireland forward. I absolutely do,

I am currently the Minister of New Citizens. The purpose of the ministry is to locate and foster relationships with newer players. It is hoped that with early intervention by my ministry and other key ministries that we would see higher retention rates and help players immerse themselve more quickly into the game and prevent players from falling off. My first group has been closed out and our retention rate was nearly 70%. The numbers will tell the tale, but early signs would indicate that our efforts are bearing fruit.

One of the reasons this has been as successful as it has been is because we listened to what new players had to say. We remembered what it was like for us when we first started. We were responsive to the needs of our new citizens. We even preemptively contacted them at critical stages of their development. Finally, we gave them support and encouragement each time we saw them participate in a forum, write an article, or comment on other articles.

Why am I explaining all of this? Because by electing me, this is the type of effort you will see.

- I am responsive to the needs of our people.

- I am constantly looking for new ways to make our lives better.

- I am a huge proponent of collaborative efforts.

- I am a damn hard worker. (I even have a medal for that one. lol)

- I am not afraid to fight for what we believe in.

- I am a catalyst for positive change and I firmly believe in the power of our people to do great things.

My vision for this term is quite simple: Dare to Grow

That's it. We need to grow. Ireland is already great in my opinon. And it will only become greater as our numbers grow. We need to encourge the growth of bright new talent, attract venerable veterans from other countries, and be smart about how we are managing our current resources while at the same time protecting our borders from outside threats and those who would try to bring us down from within.

So what say you, citizens of Cork and Kerry? Are you ready to grow? Are you ready to tap into that fire that lives within each and everyone of us?

If the answer is yes, then I would be honored to be your representative.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best Regards,

Edana Savage
