(i) The New Revolution

We are going through one of the most important time of eIndian history. The power spectrum of the eWorld has just started to change in favour of EDEN. However, as a nation, eIndia today is much behind from the rest. We constantly have to rely on our allies to keep us safe and defended. We need to strive for self-sufficiency so that we can protect our allies rather than waiting to be protected.

There are two major reasons that are being cited for India being behind other nations. One problem is we are not attracting enough RL Indians to the game. Second problem is existing players are not active enough. If you think about it, there is honestly only one problem to solve – the second one (lack of active members). Active members are the biggest source of “active” baby boom.

What we were able to do at DPI, is rather than giving money or food away, we encouraged activity and participation. Our mixture of rapport and guidance worked with new players. Therefore, although we are one of the smaller parties, we have the highest representations on the media. I plan to replicate this experiment throughout the nation.

To introduce myself, I joined the game during March. I wasn’t referred by anyone. Just came across the site and started playing. Like vast majority of us, I had to learn the game on my own. One thing I quickly learnt was that, without active participation in the forums and IRC, it’s very hard to make a place for yourself in this game.

I also found that, when the nation achieves something, it is usually the active population, gauged by who accesses forums and IRC, who gets the credit. So new players are sort of forced into joining the forums and IRC, or play with low enthusiasm until they finally quit. This might be the reason why so many new guys quit the game.

This tendency needs to stop. We need to help all eIndians irrespective of political or military affiliations to flourish. This is for our own sake. Hence I will be supporting the idea of forum updates in the media in this manifesto.

(ii) Communications

Encouraging media activity will take a high precedence for the government. Private messages, Forum & IRC are great but don’t always work for many players. The goal should be to use the media as much for communication as possible. eIndian government hasn’t been taking advantage of the media module as much as we should have been. A lot of vital discussions take place on forums. The problem is we are making decisions on forums without involving a good chunk of the users that simply doesn’t care about the forums; soon, they will all be lost to apathy as they see nothing happening in the nation. My idea is to create a direct correlation between the forums and the media. The purpose of the MOMC team will be to ensure media is mirroring discussions of the forums. They will ensure to promote IRC and forums in the media to the extent possible and also publish weekly forum (if applicable IRC) activity updates to the media.

We will also reintroduce the MOMC contests, which were so successful under Prabal. This is because the media has gone back into decline recently, and needs another kick. Weapons will probably be the prize for articles, but this is open to change.

The PGC (Public Grievance Cell) thread will be given a high priority. We need to listen to the citizens and their problems if we want to improve the current condition. The current government did their best, but there has been a lot of discontent. Topics and resolutions from PGC will also be posted on the Media for others to see.

In short, in addition to regular updates from the ministers (from HemanathanKumar’s term), we will be doing updates of the goings on in the forums, particularly in the PGC.

(iii) Youth Empowerment

Empowerment needs to come from the bottom up. Although weapon/food dispatch is great, we need to pay more comprehensive attention in promoting them. For example, we hope the MU commanders comply with us in doing just that by shouting ‘govt- article links’ in their mu feeds. In short, we want to ensure that EVERYONE knows about the following :

- Govt schemes like low interest INR loans and free food, weapon programmes for eIndians
- MOMC & Media updates from the government
- Updates from the PGC (as detailed above)

During this term, I also plan to have the welcome message finalized and proposed to Congress.. This was started during Alector’s term, but the current government are not making any visible move to complete it despite assurances on the PGC.

Another concept we have to remember is that just giving away weapons, money or food do not create loyal active members. We need to create activity. Therefore, contests & loans that we are providing can play an active role in empowerment if promoted enough. We also plan to create an official guide for newbies that they can use to acquire an early strategic advantage.

(iv) Economy

eIndia’s economy is doing good but not great. The loans(thanks to Sharry, who kickstarted it months ago!) that we are giving out are helping a lot of eIndians. We want to continue that route of financial updates, laid out by Commius. However, we need to implement more of a strategic plan. So I, along with my MoF, plan to provide loans with discounted interests for higher amount to citizens that are looking to building weapon raw material factories or WRMs (saltpetre mines to be precise). This will ensure faster growth of the player and improve the economy. Similarly, we will also be coming up with strategies to exploit the rather restrictive economic module to the extent possible. We believe youth empowerment will strongly assist solving a lot of our economic woes.

We will be keeping track of daily government expenses broken down by various areas & initiatives. The media will be updated on a weekly basis. This will allow our government as well as future governments to come up with balanced budgets. Essentially we want to invest more money on eIndians to make our citizens strong. This is a step towards that direction.

We will see to it that a budget for various aspects of government gets implemented and allocations to specific ministries are made if we have all the required expenses data from this current december term.

(v) Foreign Affairs

Although we fought off Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) recently, the threats have not been completely eliminated. We need to continue building relationship with our allies. For instance, we want to continue improving relationship with other EDEN nations, particularly those of GEA. This is important so we can build closer relations with those who are also trial members. MPPs should focus on military needs, but we should also consider signing some with GEA nations.

The ambassador programme needs reform, but unfortunately we do not have the man power or enough dedicated individuals. We will be retaining the old ambassadors but will be looking into getting new faces. We will look into the possibility of allocating funds to this program. This will allow us to provide ambassadors incentive in return for their hard work. However, if a budget gets implemented this will be lower priority.

(vi) Defense

Current NDA program has helped a lot of citizens. We want to continue with the dispatch program so that we can support our citizens as well as our allies. However, we will be looking into ways to improve the current dispatch program such as acquiring cheaper products to reduce government expenditure. Furthermore, current government plan to introduce Quality 6 products will not be discontinued.

The battle orders PM thread will be regularly used to update MUs regarding daily orders. Media will also be utilized for important battles. Better coordination with MUs will be implemented so that as commanders change, the government is informed to update the thread with correct people.

MoD will work closely with MoFA to ensure our nation is well protected.

(vii) Democracy & India First

These are the two motto of DPI. Democracy is an all-inclusive philosophy. The impact of democracy doesn’t end in voting but we believe that all citizens should have the say in the way nation is being run. Certain things need to be kept confidential to ensure the safety of the nation. However, we plan to involve all relevant political and independent stakeholders in decision making as much as possible. No successful endeavour we believe can be undertaken without a positive cooperation. We are a small nation and democracy close to its pure form should not be hard to implement. Reluctance & lack of transparency cause mistrust of the government. We are well aware of this.

India First is a philosophy that inspires us to be honest in our activities. The government needs to be honest in its work. We need to put India well ahead of our personal or party ambitions. Acting from a selfless neutral perspective government can ensure the growth of our nation. In all our projects and initiatives, we will ensure that we are putting India’s need ahead. We will be implementing a section titled “India First” on all government communication, which outlines the way, mentioned initiatives will be helping India in the long run.

(viii) Cabinet

We are still in the process of compiling the team. Please comment below or contact me if you would like to be considered. If a position remains vacant after 24 hours of publishing this article, I would personally reach out to experienced ex-Cabinet ministers/promising newbies (depending on the position).

(ix) Final Words

Thank you everyone for taking the time to read my manifesto. This candidacy has been supported by multiple parties as well as individuals from various parties. I want to continue to work with all eIndians to ensure a positive future for our nation.

Thanks,
Exibot
