My island.. not my "brothers"!

Greetings fellow Cypriots, my patriot men,
I feel very terrible about the media status of eCyprus. People are fighting over the ideas of two bigger nations (Greece and Turkey).. One is saying, "Cyprus is Turkish!" and then the other jumps and shouts "No! Cyptus is Greek!" It is interesting. Interesting to watch people who never lived in Cyprus, not in north, not in south, shouting about the island. My island..
When the tool governments of both nations debate over the island, which one is thinking about the people who live, eat, work in the island? None.
My elders, together with the elders of Nikos, struggled for the independence of this island, for this land. The proud people of my island, instead of cursing to the invader, cursed at each other. The phoney patriots of the island, EOKA and TMT (Turkish Resistant Organization), both finansed by the two "brother" nations of the island, acted against each other. Before that, UK saw that the independence movement of the island and AKEL's effect, gave grantor rights to both "brother" nations. The ethnic division led to the hatred to each other which made us forget about the English military bases in the island.
Why do not we talk about it, comrades?
The one who lives in my island, my comrade, my friend, patriot, why do you keep cursing at the people who happen to born in the north?
To be Turkish or Greek is not one's choise, but should be proud, but not cursed.
To divide nations, people, causing deaths is a choise and should be punished. Talk about the UK existance in my island, shout at them, curse at them!
This is my first and last real-life article in eCyprus.
Please comrades, patriots,
do not fight over the race, nationality!

RL Cypriots have the first say in this e-country, the purpose of creating it was to have the RL Cypriots a home of their own. RL Cypriots are Greeks. Deal with it. If you can't, get lost. None will pillage the treasury, none will dare to mess with these people. For we'll hunt them down.

Well anyways i hate to say this but in RL i wounder why Cyprus never went to Greeks...
It was own by UK until after WWII right? So after Isreal was founded why didn't British give it to the Greeks.?

Too many foreign interests and a treacherous act by one "Greek" president made it not possible.
Unfortunately, Greeks tend to be either betrayed by their "own" or by the West.
Cyprus is split because turkey invaded after a greek junta - very grey area.
(btw the UK made a ceasefire a a joint Turkish Cypriot-Greek Cypriot government before that, we were peacekeepers!)
ok you have your opinion on that. but why should someone trust you(I'm talking about joseph kalinin and everyone who was at his party some time ago) when you claim to be a communist but at the same time you have set such national goals (as a CP candidate) some months before?

From the very ancient times the inhabitants of this island were Greeks (Hellenes) , the had the greek alphabet, the greek religion ( Aphrodite was born at Cyprus) .
The conclusion is:
Foreigners ( turks,skops and the rest of you) go home.

ahahh still no answer if cyprus is so greek native what happen to make it such a independent nation why is it not an island of greece our and autonomy of the greek nation?

Cyprus was under Turkish sovereignty for 300 years. At 1878 the British took control of the island in order to protect the Ottomans from the Russians. They were supposed to give it back to Ottoman Empire but that never happened. And after the foundation of new Turkish state with the Lausanne agreement, Turkey gave up the rights on the island. As you can see the island was never a part of the Greece and was no part of any greek state for more than 400 years. to say that it belongs to greece just because majority on the island has greek roots is silly. By the same logic we could have claimed some parts of Greece or other countries but again that is just stupid. One country can join to another, yes, but that was not the case in cyprus because they couldn't do it with democracy and then everything collapsed.
