My Intention To Run For October Country Presidency

OBJECTIVE: Run for Country President
NAME: MikeBane
POLITICAL PARTY: Eire Aonair
MILITARY UNIT: Oglaigh na hEireann
Past Offices: Minister of State, Immigration, Propaganda. Deputy Minister of Community. Congressmen of Louth (x4) and Northern Ireland. Vice President. Party President over eight times.



Explanation of early article: This is much too early to be declaring intent for Country President, but I do it now so that a political party may offer me to run as their candidate. I have asked Independent Labour's Country President, Patrick, if they would be willing in the future. If not, I will ask Eire Aonair. Whether these two will accept me is the challenge. I hope a party will run me as their candidate.


What to expect from a MikeBane presidency: With the help from economic, military, and social masterminds; I would seek to strengthen the Irish community through celebration, worldwide propaganda, more community games, defend our island and war a little, things of that nature. Ireland will be known across the world with an elite Foreign Affairs team and Propaganda heads that I would like to set up as well.


Ministerial applications will be accepted after the 15th of September.



POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY: I advocate eMarket-Socialism. My spending budget emphasizes defense, foreign affairs, and community. I believe security comes first, along with good protection pacts and friends, then giving the Irish community fun and enjoyment. I believe the people, the working citizen, should let their voices be heard and let no unjust or unpopular bill get passed.



I know some people support my ideas, others are completely against it. Do not let my socialist ideology scare you off, for I am a man of compromise. Since joining Eire Aonair, I have learned to accept that the left nor the right have the correct answer for every situation. Why call for revolution if the nation is progressing and not being tyrannized?

I will not falter if attacked, we will have allies and the strength of our people to retaliate. War is good for experience, heightens military unit memberships, and more medals are earned by Irish citizens.

The Irish Community deserves a month of weekly lotteries, games, and interaction with the government. I want to keep the citizens informed of public Dail bills, of what the government is doing, and make sure the government doesn't seem like a distant alien who controls your life. I want the off-site discussions to take place more in-game. Lastly, I am offering to promote the official eIreland Facebook page!
