Join the new world

Where is my home in eRepublik? Simple, my home is the Feds. They are a community of awesome people who talk about the game and still manage to joke around at the same time. We have opportunities for new and old players, and, well, it just feels right. I could never feel this at home in any of the other parties, the Feds are my home.

It's not just because they're the big #1 party in the country that I'm a part of them, I've been a Fed for longer than that, but honestly, I think they've deserved the #1 since somewhere closer to v2, they've just been that epic for that long. I haven't always been a Fed though.

If you'll look on my profile, you'll see "2x UIP PP." That was my first party. The UIP taught me the ropes of the game back when they were in the top 5 still. They've always been Bros with Feds. We coordinated countless ATOs together and we helped each other with congress, and even when the UIP fell out of the top 5, the Feds let us run our guys under the Fed banner every month. They were always awesome people to work with, which is why I decided to work in them when the UIP collapsed.

I was welcomed with open arms when I went over there by a community of fun peeps. They gave me something to do in the game now that my old party was officially dead. It was a little rough switching gears from UIP to Fed right away, but they were awesome the whole way through.

There was a period in the game then when I just segmented and went 2-clicky and dead-ish. I'd be completely gone for 2 weeks, then come back for a few days, get a new job and 2-click, then leave again out of boredom. Somewhere in there I ended up moving citizenship to eGermany XD but when I decided to officially come back as a full player and come back to America, the Feds (now in the #1 spot, prob the best thing I saw when I came back to activity) were where I went.

Even with the massive PTO going on and all the less-than-likable decisions being made by our government as a result of the much-needed unity process (thanks Ajay), the Fed Forums are a place where people can go to talk about it and still find fun in the game, even though it kinda sucks if you don't look too closely. Even if you're not a forum dude, if I may quote Tiacha from 1 of the eFPRs, "#Fedpartychat is the most active IRC room in the eUS, and if nothing's going on there, you might as well not even check anywhere else"

So why do I choose to make my eRep home the Feds and not anywhere else? Because, quite franky there's a reason they're in the #1 political party spot, it's because they're the best. We're just P/H dudes holding poals like P/H dudes.
