My First Step In eMalaysia Political Arena

Day 792, 22:20 Published in Malaysia Malaysia by Noveras

Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

Recently with the approval of CDV, DPP current president I have decided to run for congress. I will run as one of Sarawak congressman and the reason why I choose Sarawak is because as one of the youngest politician in eMalaysia arena I think it is an appropriate step for me take and Sarawak seems the best choice for me to officially lunch my political career.

Ok now, when someone make an announcement that they are running in an election the first thing that comes in everyone’s mind are what the promises he/she going to put in his/her manifesto right? Well after signing up for this election the same question comes in my mind, what are the promises that I should put in my manifesto? After giving a hard thought I finally realize that I don’t have to make any promises or even a manifesto at all.

After brainstorming for 3 days I finally remember why I joined the eMalaysia political arena in the first place and the reason is that I don’t want others especially the newbie to go through what I went through as a newbie myself. The feeling of invisible in everyone eyes when it comes to the matter of our great nation eMalaysia.

As one of the “active” newbie, I learned firsthand that almost all the promises that are made by politician during election cannot be fulfill and for this reason I will not promise anything to voters except that I will do my best as a congressman.

Now come the question why I want to be a congressman. The main reason why I want to be a congressman is that I can bring the eMalaysian concerns, opinions and problems into a wider and higher audiences so that these problems can be dealt and solve effectively.

In my life, I follow 3 simple rules and there are respect, love and loyalty. If I am elected as a congressman, all eMalaysian will have my respect, my love and my loyalty in serving them. I believe a leader should be close with the people he/her is leading and I intended to be a leader with”berjiwa rakyat”(having the “people’s” heart) so I argue all eMalaysian to come forward and tell me their problems and I will try my best to solve it.

As the “underdog” in eMalaysia political arena I do not put high hope on winning this election but one thing I’m sure that eMalaysian will not be disappointed having me as one of their representative in the congress. I will make many mistakes along the way but I will learned from those mistakes and provide the best service to all eMalaysian a person could possibly can.

Please tell me when I did something wrong and I welcome any criticism and advice because in the end, I’m just a mere human humbly offering his best service to his beloved countrymen and women, thank you.
