My First Day Back

Hello eNewzealand,

It has been a while since I have set foot on these calm shores. I am glad to be a Kiwi again, glad to take part in this unique country. I do come back disturbed though. We are broke, as it would seem. I have not been around for many months, but when I left this country was anything but poorly managed, especially in a financial aspect.

I do not write this article wishing to place blame, I simply want some type of answer. Valentyme told me on IRC that we just ran out of money, but I have to ask why werent taxes raised? why were there no government investment schemes? Why is there no public outcry against the lack of mpp's and a national donation system? are there independent communes? I dont know! haha There are better ways to get by and I am just at a loss as to why they are not being done.

If anyone can answer these questions for me it would be greatly appreciated. We can build a better future together, lets just be open about the problems.

Regarding the question on putting up taxes, they were earlier this month and have provided a slight increase in national income, however this rise is not significant enough to make a huge difference on the current situation.

The main reason for our lack of money is due to the admins pulling the market bot out of the game, meaning products are not being bought from the kiwi market, causing less tax to come in.

This lack of money has then impacted the number of MPP's possible for us to maintain, due to each costing eNZ 10K cc to renew, this means for the more minor MPP's that we held the govt doesn't have the money to spare when there are more important things to be investing the money into.

it does, thank you. I still wonder though why we dont just mpp with someone who is constantly fighting month to month and declare ourselves neutral? or better yet sell our aid by requiring others to purchase mpps for exlusive battle priority? Its risky, but im just spit balling

IMO, we don't need a bunch of MPPs if we at least have a few solid ones that will keep us in a battle most of the time.

NZ has to finally break out of the cycle of ONE/ex-ONE MPPs if its going to get anywhere. Most people just consider eNZ a Serb colony, perhaps its time real Kiwis asserted themselves and got the country on the map and started building relations with EDEN and ex-TERRA countries?
