My First and Last Article

Hello citizens of erepublik.

As I'm writing this, the first and last article I'll ever write here, eRepublik is down, and has been almost completely for the last 16 hours or so. I'd have to copy and paste such large article anyway because if I tried to write it all in game, I will receive a CSRF attack notification, and if I click back, I'll find I've been logged out losing everything, like many times before in Private messages.

The main purpose of this article is to first and foremost apologize to the friends I've made and the commitments to them I've decided to undertake during my short time here. There are a lot of passionate people constantly disappointed at the current state of eRepublik. It's hard to see something so engaging, with so much potential, be governed with the mindset of making the most amount of money with the least amount of effort first, and appeasing it's customers and players second.

My decision is really a matter of principle. The bugs that are rampant throughout erepublik have never been a priority, and I'm dumbstruck that in a social game like erepublik, you get timed out for writing too long, and your private messages are deleted after two weeks. All the while, and lets stop calling them by iconic names, the philosopher Plato doesn't deserve our anger; eRepublik Labs Limited puts forth missions which are almost impossible to finish without using gold IN CONJUNCTION with gold sales! It's blatant cash grabbing and unwillingness to fix even minor bugs is just too much for me, and so, after sending a message to erep labs about why, I'm liquidating my companies, selling my stock and donating what I have to these people in eRep that were the only reasons I stayed as long as I did. I'm ashamed to admit but I spent hundreds of dollars here, and all that buys is nice customer service who drag your comments, qualms, and suggestions to the delete bin.
