Like I said in the previous article, I love this game. I appreciate the good step made by admin. Still there are a couple of problems.
- One regarding the PvP so called fight. There isn't any opponent, the image is just generic, your damage goes directly to the wall/bar. It would be fair to not call this module Player vs Player, because there isn't any opponent.
- I don't really understand the decision of splitting the main battle in 8-15 mini-battles. The only reason to do it was to avoid the importance of the last hour of fights in v2. But now, all the damage is counted, we are building an wall so splitting the main battle doesn't make any other sense than flooding the society with tons of battle heroes.
-The damage formula and the Usage of the Health Kit should be rescaled. Doesn't make any sense that a random player could make more damage in a couple of hours than BattalGazi or RupeTot in 3 years of playing.
-The military skill points should be added up to the main one. In Rising it made sense to split your strength or to grow up a secondary one(hellicopters). Now there isn't any reason to have your strength split. It is necessary to do another military skill migration or add all the skill points to the main skill.
-The economy is starting to work, finally the weapons are sold, the food still is attractive. The importance of weapon quality is good(like in v1), but the damage bare-hand (no weapon) should be reduced.
-The raw material market is down. Not sure but I think that the productivity in this domain should be changed (lowered) to have less raw materials on the market, the price to go higher and the salaries same way.(check the serbian market and see how attractive is to work in land)
- Regarding the new MPP rule: " for every battle all the active alliances will automatically be available when a battle will be started". I'm not sure but if I get it right: for example in Hungary vs Romania war both countries will fight with all the MPPs disregarding who triggered the MPPs.
It could bring more excitement (I admit I'm biased here) but also could screw up the balance of powers in the New World. Maybe here it needs a second thought.
At the end, don't try to reinvent the wheel, just use what was good in v1(the quality weapon distribution, the all damage to be counted-wall system) and improve whatever doesn't work.

bring back v1 and work on the graphics. that's all. if you want to improve something do it in the political module. it is frozen since years. good art.

Hey, the minibattles are nice. Having them, se avoid last minute rushes and, imo, it's a good thing.
Also, it wont require much from servers in the end of big battles.
About the other things, the module is still in beta... Maybe admins will change or implement things - making what now looks nonsense a good thing at the end.

Make 50% equal to what has once been a no man's land. Then depending on the number of inhabitants, percent that brings victory to aggressor.
Periods are finally something good by my opinion, but their number should be reduced, say, four AT MOST.
The damage formula for a new player doing same damage as a guy playing for 3 years makes perfect sense.
An M16 assault rifle does the same "damage" no matter if Rambo weilds it or a 10 year old kid. Rambo just aims better.
But "damage" is the same, it is done by mechanics - what you ask is to deny new players any chance of totalling old players. This is the reason V2 had to be scrapped and rank gained even easier.
As for the fact raw prices get higher if they are "rarer" due to low productivity you are missing one point. All that citizens consume gets built / manufactured using raw, so any sane company will also raise salaries ( your point ) BUT ALSO raise prices.
This in fact would leave the balance unaffected.

About the rest of what you said, i totally agree agree.
But i'm afraid about weapon damages that admins will make some errors, putting them much more like in V2... it would be a big mistake.

Maybe even mini-battles could be OK, but if they last longer and be less of them.. for example every mini-battle lasts 8 hours, but we fight untill one side wins 3 mini battles...
I disagree Mare Masare to reduce number of minibattles. It is good as it is. If there were only 4 to win, then timezone would be too much important, like in V2. (Eden would attack when Europe starts sleeping).
less rounds at least.. reduce to 4 rounds the entire battle. Or "best in 5", who won 3 get the pot.
Ginman I thought reducing their number, but increasing period. Four battles won, of 4 hour each is what i meant to say.

The new players have already the advantage of LEVELS, the damage difference would be much bigger if would be calculated like in v1(considering the points not the levels). I'm hitting with ~450 /10 wellness. There are tons of fighters hitting with 3-400.
But the actual usage of health kit and the value of the damage makes that any random player to do in a couple of hours more damage/rank points than any Great Hero in the last 3 years. That's completely stupid.

Yup, 8-15 mini-battles is too much. Who wins 3 battles first makes more sense. We will have 3-5 mini-battles, reduce the number of heroes and make our damage more important for the overall battle.
I don't quite fully understand this then.
Random lvl 1 with Q5 weapon is doing more damage than you lvl 26 with Q5 weapon?..or..what.

Forget about the neww MPP rules, it would destroy the game because small and medium countries would disappear.
Let's say in v1 my damage was calculated depending on my strength(~40 or 500000 in the actual numbers)
Now my damage is calculated depending on my level(11-Veteran). A new citizen, Sharp-Shooter(level 5) has his damage depending on his level(5) and not depending on his skill points(10000 or so) Compare 5 with 11 or 10000 with 500000 and see the difference🙂

Besides that it seems that the actual damage depends on the rank points as well. So those that are making hundreds of thousands rank points these days are increasing their damage like hell.
The actual system doesn't only gives advantage to the new players, but makes the history of the old ones...just history.
They need to rescale the damage/usage of health kits fast, otherwise it would be really bad.

I like mini battles. They give us a little bit younger players a chance for gaining at least 1 BH medal, at least just for the sake of lulz.. It wasn't awesome in v1 when BattalGazi would come one day and take all BH medals in all wars -.- Also about the unlimited WPs- better for us younger players, if we have money, ofc. What can I do, I'm looking for my personal gain here : D
The 2h battles are supposed to make things more interesting,keep us more involved and stimulate consumption, but it always favors the stronger side and that's not good.
Again the economy is not working,for it to work there is a need for a production-consumption balance and we are light years away from that.
Raw materials are no different from all other products now that we have just 1 work skill and there is no reason for it to have a different prod formula.I'm not saying that the formulas are OK,just that there is absolutely no need to make any distinction between raw and other comps.
The MPP activation change(if they are crazy enough to do it) would be the end of all non-big nations and would make all high regions fair game at any time because nobody would be able to keep defending a region.Given all this i highly doubt that the admins are crazy enough to do it but if they do,the name of the game is eRepublik Chaos!

The raw material market is down because of the big number of products on the market and because the weapon industry is attractive and the salaries are better there. They need to do something to make the raw materials more attractive. Those regions are right now useless.
The MPP activation could change the NewWorld in bettter or worse, but it seems the most active players are from the big countries, so the new MPP rule will make them happier, able to reach far away territories. I'm not sure if this one will screw up the balance of powers or bring more excitement. I'm biased to stick with the last one.
Give back the weapons adventages against each others. Tanks > Rifle > Artillery > Helicopter > tank... becouse without these it is no different between weapons, but it is in their price...
Controll and maximalize the health-pack for gold.
The economy is not able to serve the fighters requirements, or average ecitizens are not able to buy items at the moment... : /

misteriosa what you are saying is that it is good to buy a victory.
I say buying a virtual victory is worth even less than earning one.
Buying a victory in this game is not only a waste of time but also a waste of money. If other players do not turn your victories and efforts meaningless in a few days you can trust the admins will. That is the meaning behind the words of Bogdan_L.
Bogdan_L the raw market is not up yet because of huge stocks and because it made a profit in v2,production cost was very low and prices/wages are just not high enough atm to push raw up.With one skill things will balance themself there is no need for an intervention.The prod formulas are all very wrong ,for everything,but for other reasons.
Finally we have chance!!!!V1 only enjoyed by old players!

Even so the difference in numbers: from 100,000 to 500,000 - so you are still doing more damage.
Further more for him to do same damage than you would mean he must surpass your "military skill points" - which needs work. I don't see why this isn't a logical solution really.

Well that was the idea, man.
I was one of those who did not fight almost at all in V2 because i couldn't gain rank and couldn't win against a FM without having rank. And i couldn't gain rank without winning against a FM...and couldn't win against a FM without rank... and... notice the circular here ?
The old system that gave old players such huge advantages had to go. More battle heroes means more gold on the market => price of gold drops => more companies, how can this be bad either?

This is the thinking of many new players - myself included - while trying to fight in the old module.
