The soldiers in the former Canadian provinces of Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador were entertained by the songs of folk duo Mulligan & O'Hare, of Reeves and Mortimer fame. They performed some of their favourites, including their hit song "My Rose has Left Me", which got to 12,573 in the charts, the haunting ballad "the day the donkey derby came to town", and who could remember their cover versions of Queen's song "Bohemian Rhapsody" or Aerosmith's "I want to know what love is".

Although they were relatively unknown to the crowd of battle-hardy troops, fresh from the nearby Wars against the pesky Canadians. By the end of the concert, every soldier new the words to "Plate Fungus" and I'm sure it will scare off our enemies soon.
