Following eRepublik's security issues it appears that we yet again have a hacker playing games again. I can't imagine why anyone would think this is amusing. However saying that I am also sure that the admin will sort this matter out in good time. However this shows a major issue with eRepublik - security. I certainly hope with V1 that this issue - along with others we have seen- is resolved.

Onto other matters we will be cancelling the 10% Trade agreement with Romania in about 10 hours time. I am letting you all know in advance in case any businesses have currently got export licences with Romania.

In other news the Libertarian Party elections are heating up. I have posted a Press release with a list of some of the candidates that I know are campaigning. Good luck everyone.

I\'d like to comment a bit as Economic Adviser, on the Romania Agreement Cancellation.

When we entered the agreement with Romania, our objectives were twofold; one, we wanted to get supplies to our troops and ATLANTIS boys fighting on the front, and to put it simply exporting is a hell of a lot simpler than some other distribution methods.Second, it was an excellent opportunity to export a lot of goods and bleed off the gluts that have been plaguing some industries, most notably Weapons.

Both of these goals have been accomplished to great effect. Since the agreement was enacted, over 130 gold worth of goods has been exported to Romania, giving us a very nice trade surplus. This has been excellent for our American Companies. Similarly, although there is still over production, many industries had the chance to get rid of their excess stocks for a nice profit, most notably weapons. At least one weapons company has been saved from bankruptcy through this trade agreement.

Overall, it has been a great success. If you have any qualms about this cancellation, I urge you to PM me.
