MoFA - The Air Strike

G'day Aussies,

Well as some of you may have seen we have declared and passed in senate a proposal for an AirStrike on Finland. I know some of you will be surprised that we are 'attacking' an ally from Asgard, an alliance on very friendly terms with our own - LETO. However this is exactly the same situation as our holiday in Jizan and we are just launching an agreed AirStrike on Finland so we can relocate for a while.

Of course this will lose us quite a few of our Mutual Protection Pacts as what happens when you launch the first attack on a country that shares certain MPP's, but what this AirStrike will give us are a couple of rented regions to sit back and grow. This in turn will hopefully see double the seats available to the top five parties in Senate that we currently have. So more seats, more senators, more work for our Party Presidents and more reason for our citizens to get involved. Where we failed with Jizan was sadly not being allowed a second region as protection but this has been agreed straight from the word 'go' this time.

Remember this AirStrike has been discussed and agreed with Finland and Asgard and is not a hostile action but your support in the battle landing the AirStrike is obviously vital. This is nothing more than a friend helping another friend.



So are we abandoning Australia's core regions? Well having one of the games most organised Alliances on your doorstep doesn't help, and of course if we rid ourselves of one 'guest' there are two others lining up to take advantage of those liberated regions. But...but...recently Aurora have offered us an olive branch and we have had talks about the return of one of our regions. Now we won't lie when we say we were astounded when Indonesia approached us about giving us Western Australia back, especially after Indonesia and Aus have a long history of hostility. Let's be honest this is a game and Indonesia are far more powerful than we are, in fact so are all our occupiers and we are short of powerful allies on our borders, so by approaching us first is quiet a generous offer if we are honest.

So talks will continue but in the meantime you will have seen Aurora countries reset our determination bonus recently...and one is still going on, now to stop the NE process we will lose Western Australia in the next few days but this will be RW back to us. We have been handed Western Australia as an act of faith by Aurora while we are discussing an Non Aggression Pact and assured we will have a senate this month even if our AirStrike fails.
