Mocadece, the Canadian Movement for Civil Rights in Spain continues its work to ensure that all persons who live in Spain have the same rights as any other.

Spaniards are scared of our power as we unite in one movement to demand our civil rights. Somehow, they simply don't get it though. One prominent Spaniard asked, "Why would you grant citizenship to hundreds of people?" Because it's the right thing. Because all persons of the New World deserve to exercise their civil rights. It is never the wrong time to do the right thing.

We can end this today, Spanish Congress - simply grant me, as well as all other Canadians who have been conquered, citizenship in the country in which they reside. Or we can drag this out for months on end. The choice is yours.

Today I urge you to not only overwhelm the Spanish citizenship system by moving back to Canada and requesting Spanish citizenship, but also to send a PM to Congressman Tugarref City.. Tell him you won't stand for the continued repression of people who live in Spain.
