I promised to deal with the August Awards as soon as possible and I will in this article. But first the lottery...

Irish Lottery Results
14 tickets were bought, so that makes the jackpot a nice 140 IEP!

The number that was picked, courtesy of random.org, was 17!!

DashRiprock and Dylanb9216 both picked that number so they will split the jackpot.

Congratulations to both of them!

To be honest, I don't have the know-how to create the usual banners for these awards. If someone wants to do this, go ahead and I can re-publish this article later. For the moment, I shall just publish the winners without banners.

And finally an important announcement.
Firstly, a surprising but very generous donation has been made to this org by Cornelius Baxter. The donation is a very sizeable 100 Gold! I hope you all join me in thanking him for this wonderful gift!

It will be used firstly to help pay the Community Award prizes.

But the main use will be to help spice up the lotteries. This is how it will work:
There are 3 lotteries left, one on each Monday. For the first two lotteries I will match whatever is brought in from ticket sales with MoC funds, in effect doubling the jackpot. Whatever's left will go towards a Super Jackpot for the last lottery. To encourage ticket sales further I will reduce the ticket price to 5 IEP.
Therefore, I feel that I must increase to 8 the limit on tickets you can buy and you can now pick numbers 1-100.

I think it's fair to say that the next 3 lotteries are going to be massive! So, get buying your tickets now for the next draw on Monday, 20th. September.
