Miyagi Kesuke for Hokkaido congressman!

Day 641, 23:51 Published in Japan Japan by Miyagi Kesuke

Change is inevitable. Or is it that the world never changes?

I stand humbly before you today announcing my congressional candidacy in Hokkaido, hoping in earnest that the first of those two statements is true.

Over the course of the past month I have served as a Congressman from Tohoku, actively working to improve Japan. This was my first opportunity to serve as a Congressman. I can report that during that time I actively worked with my fellow congressmen to improve Japan.

My work over the past month supported activities such as:
... the current war games, helping to improve our citizens strength and health.
... military funding, so that we can defend our nation and our allies in times of need.
... job creation, making sure the government does it's part to ensure our newest citizens have employment opportunities.
... immigration policies, so our congressmen can make better decisions on how to accept new citizens.

I now seek to take that experience and further apply to to assist Japan. While I have worked diligently alongside my fellow ISP members to improve our great nation, I refuse to accept group-think or party line stances. I will always choose what I believe is best for the Japanese public.

My congressional intentions are to promote new ideas that will benefit Japan. If elected, my focus areas will include:
... economic improvement. I intend to launch an investigation of the housing industry in Japan, determining if government assistance is necessary.
... immigration policy. I will work to standardize an immigration policy for Japan.
... homeland defense. I will continue to work on promoting a strong Japanese Army for the defense of our great nation and for the defense of our allies.

If these goals are important to you, and you want your voice heard, please consider a vote for Miyagi Kesuke for Congress!
