About myself and my motivations to run.

4 X congress
4 x Minister of Foreign affairs
Previous Vice President
Party president for ULA

I was born on day 1067 of the new world. On day 1167 I felt like celebrating my 100 days eBirthday. The next party was the best of my eLife! My eMarriage to pieter557 only a few days ago. I like to party so if I get elected I will have another reason to party.

So who am I really in terms of capabilities and what have I done in the short period of time I spend in eBelgium.

I started out as ambassador for Germany and later on I took on Romania and combined those two. Soon I was a real member of this great society. Fairly quick I became minister of foreign affairs and have been ever since. I ran for the last four months for congress. First as a member off BfB and as of previous month for ULA. I also became party President of ULA in April.

As Vice President this month, I have been given the opportunity to lead this country when our President wasn’t available. I didn’t run our country into destruction like Jofroi likes to say, and I am fairly confident that I did a good job. This has given me the courage to stand here before you and ask you to vote for me as your President.

Home Affairs:

Attracting new players and keeping them here
I’m planning on launching an advertisement campaign on Belgian forums to attract new citizens. Keeping them here will be the toughest part.

Education
When new players join the game, they have to know what they are getting in to and they need help. Through tutorials tailored to eBelgium and through mentorship schemes, experienced players can share their knowledge ( and wisdom ) with the “newbies”. This can be combined with lending them a hand by providing food for fighting so they level up a bit faster than they would alone. The current minister of home affairs has started up such a program and I would like to see it continued even more in the next month.

Organising fun events: Party
With our eBelgian Radio up and running ( a special thank you to ThomasRed and Pieter ), I’ll try to organise a party on IRC every now and then. ( Having fun, drinking, talking, whatever you want! ) I will ask my darling husband to make a request form so we can make our own TOP 50 songlist!

Immigration
Not much to say here. We’ll continue monitoring citizen requests and give advice to congress on who to accept and who to deny access.

Finance

With the auctioning of state companies, we will no longer need to worry about this. Next to this there’s not much to say about this subject. Keeping track of our expenses and earnings. Providing our army with sufficient funds.

Foreign affairs

Maintain and building relations
As in previous terms, our FA team will keep close and friendly relations with our neighbours, our friends and the main actors in international politics.

Keep our “army of ambassadors” involved.
With 17 ambassadors we have contacts all over the eWorld, we have a widespread network. I’ll be aiming to make the work our ambassadors do more public and rewarding.

Military

Making our army more fun
I will be asking our military leaders to organise training wars in the battles that will be provided through our MPPs. Our army must become more then just a bunch of people with the same uniform. We used to do group battles and organised strikes in the previous war setting. This is no longer needed to win a battle. We will try to work more close with our allies and concentrate our damage in a single battle.

Justice

Constitution
As in the past months, we won’t give up on the constitution. We’ll organise a survey of the entire eBelgian community about their opinions on the constitution itself and on the principle of having one. We’ll base our work on the constitution on the outcome of this survey.

Supreme Court
The Supreme Court still is two members short. We’ll try to find someone to fill up those spots.
Because the Supreme Court is a controversial matter as well, we’ll also survey the eBelgian community about this and base our next move on what they want.
