Ministry Update: Interim MoFA

Day 915, 03:58 Published in Ireland Ireland by Irish Foreign Ministry

Owing to the recent circumstance experienced by our former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Santiago Hortez, effective immediately, I, Anaille Kolshire, will be assuming the role of MoFA for the interim of this presidential term.

As interim minister, I am fully aware that there is very little time left in this session to successfully assume what is a very demanding role. It is my intention at present mainly to continue our international conversations, conclude any pending negotiations, and identify where the Foreign Affairs program needs the most immediate support, now and in the future. I will work to affect positive solutions where possible, and advance our country’s agenda where feasible and appropriate.

Also effective immediately, I have selected Talfryn to be Assistant Minister. Talfryn will be focusing on ascertaining the current status of our ambassador program, and identifying areas for support or improvement. From this point on, all ambassadors will respond and submit their most current reports directly to him.

I appreciate the confidence and support of our president, and I hope to continue working in a manner that only advances the world standing of our country and her citizens.

-Respectfully

-Anaille Kolshire
