Minister of Community, Office of Community Events

Hello all. Good to be back at the Ministry of Community after a long absence. Things will be a little different this term but for the better I think. There are three Ministers of Community now, each with a different department. MrConway is Minister of Community in the Office of Census and Statistics and Rafaia is Minister of Communityin the Office of Citizen Welfare. Me, I am in the Office of Community Events. That means games and contests and eventually the Community Awards. So let's get the games underway......

First up, The Lottery

Rules:
- Pick a number from 1-59.
- The winning number will be the first ball drawn in the Maine Powerball draw on Wednesday, September 11.
- 10 IEP per ticket.
- You can buy up to 5 tickets.
- If you are level 20 or lower, then your first ticket is free. YES FREE!
- You must PM Anthony Colby with your number(3) before the draw is made on Saturday night.
- You must donate the ticket fee to Anthony Colby before the draw is made on Wednesday night. So sometime before 16:00 eRep time on Wednesday.

Extended Rules:
- If no winner after the first ball, we proceed to the second ball and so on.
- If there are no winners after all balls are drawn, the pot will roll-over to next week.
- If there is more than one winner the pot will be split evenly.
- There is a guaranteed prize of 1,000 IEP thanks to donations from great friends of the Irish Community.
- If you don’t PM with a number it will be assumed the money is a no strings donation to the Irish Community

Now that we have that underway I will tell you about the second part of the games that we are going to be running. With each game, contest, lottery and whatever I decide to run you will receive points. Yes points.

Win Contest 5 points
Second Place 3 points
Third Place 2 points
Enter Contest 1 point.

Then at the end of the month the citizen with the most points will be crowned the Irish Community Champion. Not sure what the prize will be yet. I guess it depends on the money we are allotted from the Government and the number of donations we receive. That brings us to the next part........

The Ministry of Community has a long tradition of citizen donations that help us give out great prizes. Any and all citizens who donate to the Ministry will be recognized in the Community Articles.

Now I wanted to get things going as soon as possible that is why the MoC article is posted here in my personal paper. As soon as access to the Org is secured we will resume publishing in the Ministry Paper.
This Day will resume as soon as that takes place.

Thanks.
