Hello everyone,
I have created a new list for GM's to fill out so we can compose a list of all the companies in Australia and internationally owned companies with Australian owners (find it here).
This list is publicly available in the above link under the sub title of spreadsheets. These lists will have a number of uses ranging from GM's finding other GM's to inquire about contracts to prospective GM's looking to see where there is a lack of companies in a particular industry just to name a few. I hope all GM's fill this list out for more accuracy and reliability.
GM Course
The course will most likely be released after the Presidential Elections as I may be removed from my cabinet position or the next CP may not agree on the course. Derek Apollyon has already told me he plans to run the course and I presume Calibur also plans to (correct me if I am wrong mate 😉
). The details are still in planning but I hope with completion of the course a small business loan may be given out to those who pass with flying colours (of course if funds persist and loans will be tied down by eRepublik contracts). This is not certain however.
Raw Materials
I am pleased to announce the price of grain has dropped as has wood. I am disappointed however, to not see this drop in price in food however. I urge all food GM's to past this saving on to the consumer.
Diamonds and Iron RM prices are not fair or at expected levels (diamonds should be at grain price and iron should be at wood price). The excuse of high wages won't cut it anymore as grain and wood companies are able to cope. Lift your game.

and am also astounded to see diamonds still at such high prices (give me a loan and ill fix that for you 😉)
Lastly there is a typo in there about iron being at grain price 😛

Good info and thanks for the help with the list.
Unfortunately the cost of raw materials is only one factor in the pricing of the food. We pay strong wages to retain good workers that keep their wellness level high, work every day, and increase their skill levels. There are times when we gift our employees to help their wellness as well. These things add a lot more cost to the product than the cost of raw materials.
If the cost of raw materials went up 20% the cost of food would not go up 20%. It is not a direct correlation. This would be less than a 5% difference.
The big costs are in the wages and wellness help for the employees of the food companies.

Vendetta Holdings should be keeping wood at well below 1 AUD. Can't produce too much of it (due to lack of workers period), but we do what we can.
I'm certain that the list ain't even close to complete unless alot of eAustralian citizens (especially ANP members) suddenly sold their eBusinesses. Mind you, I wish that there was a easier way to see who's the owner of a business.
Mukoa Lumbermill, once we have more productive workers working for less or a good stash of cash, will be selling wood a lot lower than the current price ($1 AUD)

Maybe you could help getting those memebers of ANP to fill out the forms so it can be complete.

@Far Flung Enterprises, i had to laugh when i read your post, because you say the main reason you have high prices is because you pay your employees a lot, that's a load of BS! I have done the numbers and with the current grain prices, the wages you are offering (and if you fired one person) you would be able to sell at 4AUD!
Now if you had said you were selling it higher because you wanted to have 15 employees, that would be better, but it's just getting a big profit, nothing more.

I run my company to make a profit and unless a communist government gets voted in, and if it did I would probably sell up and move out of Australia asap, I will continue to do that.
Well Invicta, I think that the threat of a hostile business environment scares away potential investors. Personally, I'd be hesitant about putting my own funds (not that I currently have enough) into a eBusiness which the eGovernment may decide that I should not be allowed to keep.
Invicta, you are obviously offering to high a wage to have sustainable prices
if companies in wood and grain are able to set reasonable prices you should be able to aswell

it really depends on what you do with it
