Some of you may be wondering why we have no congress in Canada, well it is because parts of our own Canadian government/executive do not want there to be a congress. Our very own Minister of Foreign Relations ADMITTED that he would rather keep Canada from having a congress if it meant that a certain individual was blocked from joining congress. So to keep one person out of Congress the executive is willing to keep all of Canada down and oppressed by the Spanish.
I for one expect more from our government who I thought was supposed to be looking out for the best interest of our government. I call for the resignation of Dozzer_X who has neglected his duties out of spite, ahhhh

Congress is only as strong as its weakest link, when it comes to CDC leaks.
I believer that Dozzer was saying it is better to remove the weakest by having no Congress at all, rather than have a faulty chain at all.
Seems to make sense as a witty thing to say.
And the spirit of this shameful article certainly seems to support the idea that Maximus would be a weak link.

This seems like something that could come out of the Military Dictatorship Party's manifesto if, you know, they were serious about political ideology and actually bothered to write this kind of thing down. Or, to bring things back to real life, something that an absolute monarch (yeah, I mean you Prince Hans-Adam II, Prince of Lichtenstein!) might say.
As we all know:
Canadian can't be trusted to make rational decisions so this should be reserved to a select group of people who know better. Because we're a "democracy" (stupid game mechanics) for better or for worse, Congress plays this role.
Furthermore, Canadians can't be trusted to not tell others about some decisions Canadians are making. In fact, they can't be trusted to learn this information themselves! Thus Closed Door Congress was created.
But wait, we can't trust some Congressmen not to leak details from CDC. Solution: ban those Congressmen or better yet let's not even bother holding these discussions in Congress.
Few actually bother saying our lou😛 even better yet, let's just not have a Congress at all and let the Executive decide, although plenty come close by saying that Congress should generally just butt out or do as it's told.
Now, in this Massively De-Complexified Online Game (or a NAMBLA, for short) I honestly don't see why we need to keep any secrets. There's basically nothing to argue about anymore and even if there is, why can't Canadians: a) know about it and b) have their say.
Bringing this full back around to the MDP, I do find it a little ironic that our CP Homer J. Simpson, hailing from this party, actually does seem to be listening to what our citizens want in a way I haven't seen in ages. Worst dictator ever!
But anyways, if he trusts Canadians enough to let them know what's going on and asking for their opinion, what's the logic in even having a Closed Door Congress anymore (which isn't to say that I agreed in the logic in creating it in the first place, obviously)?
I mainly like having less to read. Lengthy Congress discussions used to really eat up my free time. Life is now better with less scrolling.

I'm also kind of grateful for their not being much in the news. As it is, I don't have time(/choose not to make time) for Shoi's awesome geopolitical articles.
In fact, it's way easier just to ignore most of that anyways. Everyone always fighting everyone else (usually the same ways), it gets kind of boring. I don't have time to be concerned about that.
I think that's probably more of a problem for newer players who see a crappy game. I'm established, I know what's what (the game sucks) and I'm happy to slowly plug away at my goals, son.
