Minimum Wage - My Opinion
clancerz
Hey guys,
Was looking at the mimimum wage, did you know it was 0.1 IEP? In my opinion this isn't high enough. Infact, I think it is very low. Even though employers such as myself pay 20IEP daily, I think this should be increased.
I think, in my opinion 5IEP is a fair and reasonable pay.
Just want to know what you guys think,
Thanks,
KC

Minimum wage is this level to facilitate communes.
Wages will never drop this low for all offers so there really is no need to worry about this!
^ Conway is right.
Just wanted to see what you all thought.
Conway is right x2

Good article though, I might write an article with a detailed explanation because this is a very common misconception.
Conway may be right, but I like your idea, I said something similar
Yes do please Ian, and other relevant information. Some people(me) did not know this.
Thanks for the comments and for letting me know.
I'm glad you posted this, it's good to explore these ideas and figure out why things are the way they are. We grow as players that way 🙂 Keep on thinking, maybe you'll run into something that needs to be changed!
That would be a good idea, Mr. Coleman, to the second power.
Unsurprisingly I agree with clancerz. I dont see any added benefit by aiding communes....so minimum wages should be increased.
Conway used the word "facilitate" 😮
As part of the army pay we get supplies but only like .75 IEP which isnt enough

an article about wages as promised 🙂
Good suggestion, but I think this is not very important. Finally the appropriate salary is fixed by the market.

Not for communes. So while "normal" workers pay taxes to the government along the value chain, communes are essentially paying no taxes, and are thus not conributing anything to the common good.
Now, of course I do KNOW that some communes DO actually contribute alot to the common good...but that still means that a) others dont, and b) essentially both are outside of public control: A commune that supports Ireland today, might end up fighting against Ireland tomorrow.
@Starkad, didn't you supply the Irish Army from your companies - a commune - or did I read that wrongly in a recent article from McF**k?
