Minimum Wage and the eSwiss Economy

I told you when you elected me that I would be transparent and honest in my political dealings. Sometimes that means admitting that I was wrong. This is unfortunately one of those times.
Since I have come to office I have proposed two bills. Both were to raise the minimum wage from .10 to .15 and then from .15 to .20 respectively. My thoughts were well intentioned and that this would improve the life of our citizens. Well... I was right and I was wrong. While it was a good idea in theory it has prevented many citizens from finding work and it has prevented many businesses from employing new workers. That is not good and I wish to correct it.
After much research, I have decided to propose that the minimum wage be lowered to .15 CHF's. It is still a better situation than the .10 it was when I took office.
Economics is a complicated business and I will do much more research on such a topic in the future before I propose or support a bill.

Is it possible that you show us your research datas? so that we others also know why it should be good to decrease the minimum wage?

Such high minimum wages can only be done in autarkic economies who have nearly all raw-resources like Russia. Switzerland has no high-resources so we have to import them -> higher price. When work is supposed to cost at least 0.15 CHF the salaries are too high to get a sustainable price.
For example as company owner who works in his own house company: Minimum wage 0.05 CHF and 12h working: 0.558CHF salary and 0.042CHF taxes Minimum wage 0.15 CHF and 12h working: 1,674CHF salary and 0,126CHF taxes A high minimum wage makes producing in Switzerland unprofitable. It only works in robust economies.
With such a low sallery people will early or later die. Cause with that sallery I can only buy "cheap" food that doesnt really give me a lot of health or happiness back. So each day I will get more and more unhealthy and happy.
Let's make a calculation: Wellness: -1 for training -1 for studying -1 for working (only for Q1) foo😛 +3 (a new citizen gets with level 5 a treasure map and with reaching level 10 one more treasure map so he should have enough money to buy Q3 food) Happiness is variable and can be gained from chilling out instead of food.
Otherwise it's the mission of the government to send new citizens high-Q-food if they need it.

Per hour that you are active you loose -1 Happiness. So if you are active for 15 hours you get - 15 happiness. You can have a rest for 9 hours + 1 bonus which makes 10. So finally -5 happiness. You would like to buy a bread that helps you with this you might even not have enough money.
You are right Walther people will get gold but maybe they would like to spend it for their own newspaper, company, party or other stuff.
I dont say that I am strictly agains decraising the wage. But I am wonder if there are some real facts for it.
Hohe Saläre bedeuten zwangsläufig auch teure Produkte. Den man kann als Unternehmer nicht einfach höhere Löhne bezahlen und gleichzeitig durch verkauf von billig Waren diese Saläre dauerhaft finanzieren. Früher oder später muss das entweder subventioniert werden oder die Preise müssen steigen. Da der Staat aber nicht subventioniert wird das zweite wohl der Fall sein oder die Unternehmen gehen Bankrott.
Wie man aber bereits im obigen Artikel erkennt, ist der neu gewählte Vorsteher des Eidgenössisches Volkswirtschaftsdepartement absolut Inkompetent (errinert mich etwas an unsere RL Bundesräte). Er macht auf kosten der Schweizer Bevölkerung Wirtschaftsexperimente, so als wäre die Schweiz eine Platz für möchtegern Akademiker. Da muss man sich schon die Frage stellen, in welcher geistigen Verfassung die amtierende EDEN Marjonette gewesen war als er ihn gewählt hat😁. Bei den anderen Witzfiguren in der Regierung scheint auch nicht viel los zu sein als ein verlängertes Wochenende.

Der Mindestlohn muss halt im Verhältnis zur Produktivität stehen. Ist er zu hoch wird die freie Wirtschaft keine Jobs anbieten und es gibt entweder dann da keine Jobs oder Staat muss Jobs subventinieren bis die Produktivität der Arbeiter einen Stand erreicht der für die Unternehmer wirtschaftlich ist.

Lets take a look at this for a moment and think about what has been suggested.
Minimum wage * hours worked = Wage Per Day
(.15*😎 = 1.20 CHF
(.10*😎 = 0.80 CHF
Now if a person Works, and Studies or Works and Trains. You've lost 2 health. While you can regain the happiness by "Chilling out" but you can not regain the health.
The Cheapest food with 2 health costs 0.77 CHF. At .10 CHF per hour, you earned .80 CHF and after your living costs you will have only 0.03 CHF a day after things are done. At 0.15 CHF per hour, you earn 1.20 CHF, and after living costs make only 0.43 CHF a day after things are done. Granted, people could always just work 12 hours chill out for 12 hours, but that doesn't benefit anyone, or help to advance the cause of the Swiss people!

Wo bleiben die Jobs? Ich bin arbeitslos verdammt. Ich kann nicht einmal auswandern um mir einen Job im Ausland suchen. Ist das jetzt das neue staatliche Suizidprogramm oder wie darf ich das verstehen? Traurig was die Regierung mit meinem Heimatland macht 🙁
@Rican Raising too much the minimum wage has too bad results:The first is this which Walther described very well in his first comment.The second is that if you raise too much minimum wages many CHF will be blocked in dead citizens or in inactive citizens and multies.So it is kindly better first to think about this kind of laws better and then propose them 🙂
Please vote yes to the new proposal to change the mininum wage to .12 chf's.
0.2 is way too much.
You should think also the companies not only the employees. If the companies will be closed cause of their loses,the citizens will be unemployed and the high minimum wage will be useless
