Message to the CP
Boukun Suzaku
So congrats, first off, to Shadowmaniac, on his win. But Id like to point out that his opposition pulled in 61 votes total to his 81. In my opinion this is an interesting statement from the remaining player base. Neither of his opponents was any kind of serious competition, nor did either seriously campaign for the job, and yet landed a combined 43% of the vote. From wher I am sitting this shows a growing discontent with the direction this country has been going these last few months. Whatever your plans are, I'd suggest you consider something besides just 'staying the course' set for you by the last several governments. Judging from the votes, the people are not entirely pleased with the lack of long term focus, not to mention lack of communication, of the previous administrations.
Food for thought anyway.

Well I expected that it will end like that. And Kazami will still stay forever presidental candidate.
Your hypothesis has to be tested. I'll nominate you as a candidate again this month. If you get more votes, it means you are right with your idea of "growing discontent".
Does eJapan even exist?? o_o (like eSpain...
Well you got a point there, although I'm worried because of your statement that neither of the opposition candidates didn't seriously campaign for the CP position, so that means that basically there were no serious attempts to actually won the election ( thus the lack of CP campaign articles), so should people even be surprised by the result of the elections xD I wouldn't take the results of this elections of 43% opposition votes as some kind of success, because let's face it, some people would vote for any candidate that isn't from CtG, TLS, DNP coalition so they don't care (very much) who's on the opposite side of them.
Only united candidate of whole opposition has a chance of winning, if the situation continues like this it will be pretty much certain to say/guess who'll win the elections....so my message is... if you gonna candidate at least take it half-serious and present some kind of plan and arguments why would people vote for you, not just using the usual...I'm not from CtG, TLS, DNP coalition aka PTO-ers, so vote for me...'cuz they're bad guys and I'm you know a good guy....I swear xDD
Maybe I should nominate myself for the CP election just for fun, so I can have something else to put in my (e)biography xDD
While I agree with much of your post, Id like to point out that I didn't candidate myself nor did I even expect to be on the ballot. Considering I do little more than 2click here, and feel this game and this eCountry are both lost to those of us who spent years trying to build it up and protect it, I really didn't expect to pull in that many votes for me either.
Perhaps you should candidate, since you are both serious and active, I would give serious consideration to voting for you depending on what your cabinet looked like.
I understood that, and I think it's a shame that you were unaware of the position you were in, not to mention the irresponsible actions of some persons that put you there in the first place, at least they should take the situation more serious and talk with you about future plans. I really think you are not just a good candidate but could also be a good CP, as a old player of this community you know and have people who are willing to help you out. I would always rather vote for you then for Kazami Yuuka...and I think I'm not the only one that think this way...or I am xDD
As for the community, it's true that we lost the old glory, but we mustn't give up, the moment we give up that's the end for us at least the end of our community as it was before.
As for my nomination for CP, I don't have that kind of political ambitions for now, but you know how they say never, say never....maybe in some (distant) future xD
The position of MoCH is the only position I can take at the moment and to be honest that I'm interested in.
Position of CP is much more serious and brings much more burden then MoCH, I don't know could I bear the pressure and responsibility for the whole (e)nation, keeping in mind my inexperience in domestic politics, not to mention the international xD That position demands a experience politician with powerful and experienced team formed around him. So first I or any other candidate need to have a good team then he can think about the next step.
The difference between us is that I feel we have already lost everything that made our community something amazing. We've managed to recapture a bit of that elsewhere and thats where Im focused. Not eRep.
Well I can understand you, I missed the golden age of activity here, so I'm trying to make this community active as much possible I can with some (interesting ) events. I think I know on what place you refer...good luck with that, I'm just not interested in making fresh start in another game, at least not for now xDD
