Memo to all members of the eIDF (English/Hebrew)

Good day, soldiers. As many of you have no doubt heard, we will be transferring to our new structure this weekend so we can work out the bugs before v2 is implemented. A few things will change, but much will remain the same (such as you will still be expected to respond to all communications sent to you promptly, you will still be required to register on the national forums (located here: http://erepisrael.freeforums.org/index.php) and so on.)

The Defense Corp (DC) will undergo the most change for the new structure. All members of the Defense Corp will be expected to be willing and able to deploy if needed. DC may be called upon to fight at home or abroad as needs dictate. Anyone not willing or able to deploy will be placed in the Reserves. Reservists are still members of the eIDF, but they are not considered active soldiers. They may be called upon in times of national emergency to defend our shores, but will never deploy. Recent graduates of the Training Corp who wish to be a part of the eIDF may also be placed in the Reserves until space becomes available (if DC is full when they graduate).

Another change coming to DC is the institution of patrols. Patrols are groups of up to 6 soldiers who all have similar times of normal activity. Each patrol will have a Sergeant (CO), a Corporal (XO), and 2-4 additional Privates. Privates will have duties assigned to them by their CO or XO such as translation, communication, quartermaster, or scribe. Because patrols will be organized according to time of normal activity, this information will be required to place you in the correct unit.

If you have not done so all ready, please communicate your time of normal activity (in eRep time) to me (General Maelyn) so I can place you where you need to be. If you are not willing or able to deploy, please indicate this information also so I can note your transfer to the Reserves. (Recruits will be placed after graduation)

Anyone who has not communicated the needed information to me by the time the transfer becomes active will be placed in the Reserves and may need to reapply to the active Defense Corp units at a later date.

The recruitment application will be closed sometime in the next 2 days, and will not reopen until the transfer is complete.

גוף ההגנה יעבור את השינוי הכי גדול לקראת המבנה החדש. נצפה מכל חברי גוף ההגנה להיות מוכנים ברצון להישלח למקומות אחרים במידה ויעלה הצורך. ייתכן וגוף ההגנה ייקרא להגן באדמותינו או מעבר להן כפי שנדרש. כל מי שלא מוכן או לא יכול להישלח למקומות אחרים יימוקם ברזרבות. החיילים ברזרבות הם חברי צה"ל אך הם לא נחשבים חיילים פעילים. ייתכן והם ייקראו להילחם בזמן חירום לאומי להגן על חופינו , אך לא יישלחו למקום אחר. בוגרי גוף האימונים יימוקמו ברזרבות במידה ולא ייהיה מקום בגוף ההגנה, עד שיימצא מקום.

עוד שינוי הבא לגוף ההגנה הוא ייסוד הסיורים. סיורים הם קבוצות של עד כ6 חיילים שלכולם יש את אותו זמן פעילות. לכל סיור יהיה מפקד, מפקד בכיר, ובנוסף על כך 2-4 טוראים.לטוראים יהיו משימות שיינתנו אליהם מהמפקד או המפקד הבכיר כגון תרגום, תקשורת, אחראי אספקה, ומחבר. מכיוון והסיורים ייתבססו על זמן הפעילות הממוצע של האנשים, המידע הזה יהיה הכרחי כדי למקמם אותכם ביחידה הנכונה.

אם עדיין לא נתתם את שעות הפעילות שלכם במשחק (בזמן אירפבליק), אנא צרו איתי קשר ותיידעו אותי בקשר לכך, כדי שאוכל למקמם אותכם היכן שאתם צריכים להיות. אם אתם מוכנים או לא להישלח, אנא תאמרו כך בנוסף על שעות הפעילות כדי שאוכל לוודאות את מיקומכם ברזרבות. (מגוייסים חדשים יימוקמו אחרי שעברו את גוף האימונים).

מי שלא ייתן את המידע הנדרש עד יום ההעברה הוא יימוקם ברזרבות , וייצטרך להגיש בקשה לעבור שוב לגוף ההגנה מאוחר יותר.

בקשת הגיוס תסתיים במשך היומיים הקרובים, ולא תפתח מחדש עד שההעברה תסתיים.
