Meet Our Newest Senior Officer

Day 1,934, 12:58 Published in USA USA by seeker1

SandalaiM aka thezorcane was recently promoted to Executive Officer (XO) of the Airborne’s 82nd Division. He is the first of a younger generation of Airborne members to become a Senior Officer.

He agreed to sit down for a chat, which I transcribe below.

1. You have had a little time in your position as a Senior Officer. Can you yet tell us how you like doing that job? What do you do? What goals do you have now that you are part of the Airborne's top leadership?

Although I have been Senior Officer for short time, I like that job very much.

As DXO in Airborne, I need to QM people, send reports, make sure my fellow soldiers are alright and the roster is up to date.

I want to see people fighting together, I want to see people talking with other people, and I want to revive some of our channels- for now, this is my goal.

2. Do you see anything that might be improved in the Airborne's operations or organization? Do you see any strengths in the Airborne?

I love Airborne, we are helpful, friendly and nice people- you can always find someone to talk with, and you can always find a friend to help you. In my opinion, there is always place for improvements.

As I said before, my goal for now is to make people more cooperative and revive some of our channels. I want to see more people talking with other peoples from different MU’s, maybe MA’s with other MU’s from abroad, or even just a night we will all stay together and play games.

Brotherhood, fun, and happiness are 3 words that describe what I want to see in Airborne.

3. Why did you join the Airborne? There were many other MUs you could have joined.

I joined Airborne because one of my friends was there, he sent me the application form and I filled it- I got accepted and I fell into love immediately.
So many nice people, activity, and friends - it was love from the first sight.

4. Is there anything else you want to say?

I can write you a paragraph and explain why you should join us. Instead of that

You should join Airborne because:

*We are friendly.
*We are nice
*We don’t bite (usually)
*We have many people
*We promote people and giving them first experience in Military life
*We have BBQ

So what are you waiting for?

If this ringing endorsement encourages you to join the Airborne, and you meet our requirements of Division 3 or 4, Apply Here.

Not strong enough for the Airborne yet or have no experience with a military group?
