Join the new world

For those of you who don't know, Erepublik switched hosting providers yesterday. Since then I've been getting random network timeout errors. In order to combat this, I had to add some additional error checks on my code while i... try...except.

Because of the network timeouts, the average time to make the medic list has gone up from 1 hour to 3 hours. I would experience the same error if I were to try and compile the big brother spreadsheet, so the time to create it has gone up from 3 hours to 9 hours. This makes it impractical to run. So until the network timeouts resolve themselves, don't expect the big brother spreadsheet to be updated.

In other news, the regional conductivities have been published. The US can expect Diamonds and Iron to be in comparatively short supply. Most countries have a x2 region for grain, expect tight international competition in that industry. Oil appears to be more limited, but most major countries have access to domestic oil. Diamonds iron and wood are a bit more rare. Expect there to be a strong world market trading diamonds, iron and wood.

I must once again advise business owners to begin holding back supplies in anticipation of V1. Raw materials will be in short supply until companies establish a foothold in their industries.
