Today is February 2nd, day 1535, and the Market Report is back! With the semester underway I have been able to find a time (14:00) where I can reliably be at the computer every day to get the market data you rely on. I’ve been collecting for the past four days to get some background information. The market has been plunging downwards for the past few days, but the eUS society is looking up. In today’s edition you’ll get an update from the Block Party, PointBank, and at least one of the men who wants to be elected president on Sunday, but first, let’s do the numbers.

Since the Block Party was announced earlier this week, we have seen slow but promising growth. We now have forums (http://tinyurl.com/eblockparty) and are continuing to expand our community. Point Taken reached out to all three four Presidential Candidates currently receiving support from more than one party. We asked them to provide a short summary of who they are and what they stand for so that our readers could be more informed when they head the polls on Sunday. Of Vanek26, Oblige, and Publius, only the incumbent responded. Edit: Aeriala has since reached 2 endorsements and has been included.

Oblige – Federalist
I am Oblige and I'm the current incumbent President. This is my second term as CP. Previously I served as Secretary of State for four terms, and Secretary of Defense for one term. I've also been the Secretary General of TERRA for four terms. I'm a Lt. Col in the Special Forces (on leave from my office as recruitment and retention director). In addition I've served two terms as a Congressman, and an additional two a deputy Speaker of the House.

I'm running for President because I believe that the work I've started in my first term has yet to be finished. Although we've revamped the State and Media departments in a truly significant way, there's so much left to do.

Interior will be a major focus this term. Outreach to new players is going to be of critical importance. Additionally, we'll be implementing new plans to bring the orders and strategy that are formulated into the metagame, into the INGAME eRep experience.

Obviously, we'll also be working hard to maintain our 100/100 bonuses and prevent complacency in our allies in light of our recent victories.


Aeriala - Bastards of Liberty
I have been around long enough i guess. 2x CP of canada, 1x Terra SC, i don't even feel like listing other various positions. Good times or bad I've seen them. In the end the most important thing I see is people, we. All are important, after the country which is in great shape, we should take some time to look at the populance, the people. Part of any gov't job is to look at itself, it's people and look to improve itself. When you look around and wonder why you feel left out of the gloating of the few, that is why you should consider a change.
