As you may or may not know my name is Dean Mac Glennain and I have started collecting market information from Ireland . Tomorrow I will post last weeks market information . This information helps company owners to forecast profits / work out wages or if it is worth opening a new company . Hopefully this will turn into an archive of information .
My overall plan would be to have information substantial enough to help the government with deciding taxs / controlling the markets ( ie mentioning that there may be to many of one type of company and encouraging the people to only open certain types ) . For example from the times I recorded the information it looks like we have more grain companies than any other company .
I am going to do a census to find out how many companies Ireland owns and how much in each sector . I would appreciate it if everyone could help me out and send me there information so i can scratch there name off the list of people to check .
I would also like to ask people to mention what country they would most like me to forecast information about as well ( for export help ) .
In other news . . . Next weeks information will have additional information about how many offers there was in total .
( if there is anyway someone thinks this service could be better please dont hesitate mail me ) .

Very good stuff man well worth a read, post your information on the forum as well. Ill ask Dubh if he doesn't see this to give you a shout because the government would be very happy for your input.

I believe there's a way to check all the companies info on the Rankings page under community, might want to check that out. Would be easier than a census.

I've been reasding your articles with great interest. Over the long term I believe the recorded information on market prices will be very useful.
Rather than beginning a census of Irish Companies (sites such as ereptools list alot of that information), a long term effort to record wage levels in IEP and gold would be very helpful and very beneficial.

Looked into the possibility to have it automated, but market price API feeds are just as wrong as MM ones.

Well, the whole API system is dead for ages, and there is absolutely no sign that they planned to revive it. So I guess we'll have to stick with manual data entries. However, Sir Adriano Prette says http://www.erepublik-market.com is running and providing correct data. I couldn't open it though, would appreciate any info on that.
