A bio of Marius.

You have to understand first hand that Scott did not created his account. He was suppose to take care of the account for one of his friend, jeff (the original account maker). But what started as only a temporary thing, ended up being a really deep engagement toward our armed force.

Scott always had a strong background with the army, as he was a soldier in RL, this only made it easy for him to integrate the rank and feel confortable within the rigid structure of the CAF.

He joined the CAF on september 10 2009. Back then we still we're in the process of reconquering our territory as Iran and Hungary we're still a part of our Canadian Landscape.

It's the platoon of former user (jeff) that was to be the new home of Marius, the 12th shockdrop infantry. This platoon was headed by Colonel Cosmic Zombie who became Marius direct superior in his newly assigned duties. While at first it was somehow weird to see somebody using the account, we became familiar with this new user over time.

I can still remember quite clearly his nick name on IRC ''New_Marius'' Wich was always making us have a good laught about his status of being a replacement. Over time he completely retained the account and he was no longer the ''new_Marius'' but Marius_Coroleone.

Marius while not being very rich in erepublik Possession, always invested huge amount of gold into the game whenever we had important battle. In his early beginning he fought like a devil in various battle such as:

Manitoba: USA vs Hungary (win): with 28 fight and -3621 dmg
Nunavut: USA vs Hungary (win) : with 19 fight and -2720 dmg
Hello kitty (first attempt) China vs Hungary (fail) : with 36 fight and -8337 dmg.

This was only in game fighting. But he was also very dedicated in the forum. His enthusiasm was very much appreciated by his squad mate.

Quotes from his fellow soldier:

''Marius was one of those guys who would be on your ass for something really little, and you didnt know why he was on your ass, but you know he was still on your side, and if you fought for something you believed in, he would be right behind you.''-Major Danster
''He was always active in the forums, he always created ways for us all to talk and have fun in the platoon'' -pvt. Flyboy909
''Marius was ecanada's Paton, he was crude, rude and did not give a flaming **** if he hurt someone's feelings. His military prowess made on respect him and become a significant military leader'' -pvt. Duke Leto

A little later he became recognized by the CAF in a more official way. He was in fact promoted to Colonel of the 1st division near the end of the month of January. He was responsible for that division being their supply officer. And the timing couldn't have been better for the work load. The war in the UK started and he was spending hours everyday in order to make sure everyone had the necessary weapon to ensure they would be able to fight. But don't think it stopped there either. He has been a very reliable supplyer until the end. Amongts the best we ever had I could admit.

''Marius, always tried very hard at every duty he was given, while at first he struggled with regular training supplies, Marius quickly picked up the skills to supply troops on the fly for operations. He became an invaluable aid on IRC. Soon enough, he mastered training supply, and insisted on an overhaul of the antiquated records he was handed.. This became something of a landmark argument for Marius, for some reason he never developped a love for paperwork.'' -Colonel Goran Thrax

The war with the UK was lost as we all know, but there was a significant event in the life of Marius that happened shortly after this. The last vestige of the war was the region of Northern Ireland, wich was the only territory not returned to the UK. The irish we're not going to let it go easy. And the UK had to fight twice to get it back. But as the Irish we're giving all they had in those fight. Marius came in the picture to fight for what he considered to be a good cause to fight for. He ended up pulling an impressive 96 fight for 36174 dmg and the Battle hero. He gained a lot of friend from this. Ireland had just been introduced to our Marius.

'' People in Ireland had been surprised that Marius had come and fought for them with such vigor. He soon became very well known in Ireland. Not just for his Battle Hero efforts. Regularly hanging out in the Irish National IRC Channel, he became a very popular and widely respected figure in Ireland. He later requested to be involved in an Irish-Canadian military exchange programme which cemented peoples view of him as an honourary Irishman. It soon became common knowledge in Ireland that Marius was a straight talking professional. The fact that Irish-Canadian relations began to flourish around this time owe a lot to the efforts of Marius "Battle Hero" Coroleone.''-Irishbhoy1967

Marius kept on doing his job and had a key role in the daily operation of the CAF during the next month. Despite no matter how hard the pain killer we're affecting him. He would just keep on coming on IRC and having some time with us to talk and have some fun. A bottle of scotch and he was all set up to take the stress away from our daily life. All in all. this period was quite calm in the eLife of Marius. Until a fatidic incident happened.

On the 23th of april. We started what would be known as the Long Sword Rebellion. Wich was in fact a fake PTO of congress to send a message about the importance of being accountable and respectfull of both the citizen and the army. A lot of people we're involved in the CAF with that. He was with me all this time. He never complained at my idea of doing this. In the end, we ended up realising we had a just cause, but we messed up using the wrong instrument to send this msg. As we broke the CoC we we're courtmarshalled, both me and Marius we're demoted in the process. Before the dust settled, I was furious about people refusing to openly speak up and preferring that me and others were taking the risk. As much as Marius was impulsive and quick to express his opinion, he was the one to calm me down that day, countrary to me, he was acting with dignity and was accepting his faith. He made me realise the importance of knowing that we would have to assume the consequence without complaining about it. I have to thank you Marius for helping me get throught this. You've never let me down, you stood with me on that day and I'll never forget what you told me about this.

Countrary to other who weren't happy after the LSR. Marius continued to stay around and supply his division. He would be a shining example of discipline regarding his duties. Something that could be attributed to his RL experience as a Soldier.

He was given a job as the Chief Warrant officer during the month of may, but due to Illness he has never been able to show his true potential at this position.

This is pretty much what I remember about Marius and the major event of his eLife. If you have any more dates or important event concerning Marius ''Scott'' Coroleone, please send me a msg so I can edit my article about it. Or simply post in the comment section.

On a last note, I'd say that Scott was to me the definetion of Courage, I will never forget him as he taught me valuable lesson, about respect, the chance we had of living in a country that does not know war, and the importance to defend your conviction.

You are not alone my friend, I, and many others are with you in thoughts. This is not a goodbye. it is simply an ''until I meet you again''.

Marius ''Scott'' Coroleone, the man I wish I had known more.
