Join the new world

Hello America,

As part of my effort to bring un-biased news to eRepublik about Regions and Regional Changes, I have taken it upon my self to compose a daily calender of regional changes. Ever day I will post this information in a random country in the New World, and once every week I shall double post it in my home country of New Zealand. Today, the country I have picked is no other than the USA!

Here it is, the Regional Changes from Day 1,055, as well as updated Alliance regional counts. Along with today's region changes, I have included an analysis for each one, as well as an analysis of battles which took place since the last newspaper release.

Battles

Europe

Poland vs Russia
Poland, building off their momentum from winning in Northern Russia, have launched two attacks on the Russian regions of Urals and Moscow and Central Russia. Russia has responded by attacking Northern Russia, but Poland, along with her 15 Allies, just might be able to win in all three battles, causing a deathly blow to the already embattled Russia.

Romania vs Hungary
Romania, keeping on par with tradition, has launched attacks on Hungary, being met with the same resistance from Hungary's massive stack of Mutual Protection Pacts. I do not foresee Romania or Hungary making any headway in this war, which is the longest war currently active in eRepublik.

Romania vs Ukraine
After fending off the Ukrainian-led Resistance War in the High Iron region of Podolia, Romania responded by barnstorming into the Ukrainian region of Zaporozhia, easily conquering it. At this moment, Romania is also leading, by quite a large margin (seven to zero battles) in the battle for Donbas. With this region falling to Romania, it will give the Romanians a border with the Russian regions of Central Black Earth and North Caucasus. As said above, combined with the Polish attacks, could this be the final blow to Russia, with four nations, Poland, China, USA, and maybe now Romania, occupying Russia's most valuable regions?

Spain vs France
Spain has launched an attack on the valuable region of Aquitaine, which was once before owned by Spain during the Spanish/Polish conquest of France and Germany. It will be interesting to see what Spain and her eight allies can do against France and her ten allies.

Turkey vs Greece
Over in Europe/Asia, Turkey responded to the Greek occupation by opening Resistance Wars in three regions, Black Sea Coast of Turkey, Aegean Coast of Turkey, and Mediterranean Coast of Turkey. All three of these were easily won by the Greek occupiers. Only time will tell know the fate of Turkey now, whether it will open a real battle to reclaim the land, or wait until Greece decides to try and take over the last two Turkish regions.

Asia

Pakistan vs India
In Asia, Pakistan continued on it's "Holy Crusade" of taking over India, where the Dioist faction has complete control of the country. Pakistan has now launched an attack on all of the regions of India remaining except one. One of these is the valuable Karnataka, once a crown jewel of several counties, most recently occupied by the USA. It would seem that now Pakistan will control this coveted High Iron region.

Oceania

Australia vs Indonesia
In Oceania today, we see Australia going on the offensive, attacking an Indonesian home region, most likely a training war for Indonesia, but shortly after yet another Resistance War was started in Western Australia. If it succeeds, well, one can only assume that Indonesia will attack and conquer it. Again.
