Manitoba in deep

I know that this is a huge war with massive numbers being thrown around on each side of every battle. But seriously, who dropped the ball in Manitoba? Currently there is a wall of -270,000. That is a major slip up that I have not seem in any battle before, especially this early in (only about 5 hours). Are soldiers on our side simply not fighting, or is there some deep organizational flaw where our leaders cannot effectively put together a fight?
And when is our side going to attempt a counter-attack? The best defense is a good offense, and I am seeing neither of those things happening at this moment. Yesterday we held out pretty well, but today the bottom seems to have fallen out again.
In the words of Thomas Paine:
"A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong gives it a superficial appearance of being right."

The attack on New Brunswick was never meant to succeed. It was a war to distract us and weaken us. Before we had even secured it, France attacked Manitoba and Hungary tanked the living hell out of it.
The game won't allow you to attack while you are under attack. Plus, we don't border the French controled regions of Canada now thanks to the UK swap. We would have to open a war with UK to take them back...but we'd have to have a period w/out being attacked to do it.
And in case you missed the battle in NS towards the beginning of this war, it was -420k at one point then swung to 60k to the positive said that night. 500k swings are fairly common if both sides throw tanks at a battle.
I fought for my northern brothers and sisters this morning!
Man, it was so enjoyable reading all the eAmerican newbies getting all jingoistic about their crushing "victories" in NB and Montana too. Looks like the smart people have caught on to the feints at least.
All it takes is glancing at your enemy's newspapers and you would have seen orders and articles saying not to fight in NB and Montana because they were merely feints intended to keep the US on the defensive and waste attack points.
What Pierre said is true, France though would be up s**t creek without a paddle if it was attacking alone, since Canada has beat it damage wise individually every single battle.
But that's the point of an alliance: you don't attack (or defend) alone.
We wouldn't have attacked unless we had some serious backing, unless we felt like committing e-suicide. Unlike some nations we don't have any illusions about our weight in the e-world.
