These bonds will be available until the issuance is ended and will be repaid at a time of the government's choosing, likely between 2 - 4 months, there is no maximum to the number to be issued at this time.

Hmm, I will be interested to hear how this works. I suggest that you simply allow people to hold cash and promise them that you will buy it off of them at 0.029 if they keep it displayed in an org(not spent) for the period of time in question. I remember citizenslave's remarks that cash is a form of bonds that is built into the game when advising Emerick. I thought about that a while and I like the notion. Perhaps you are open to negotiations. I suppose printing cost displace part of the benefits.
You're right TaKunCat, and we've tried monetary bonds in the past and noticed some inflation problems. This is a more straight forward system that moves savings out of people's accounts and into battle now, when we need it most. It worked great last time and I hope it will this time too.
I did this last time and got paid back with interest. this is a program that works, on the front end to help achieve victory, and on the back end to make a little on your investment in America.

Bonds WERE sold in the past, near the end of WWIII a set were sold and all paid off. You're not the only one to come up with the idea either, as I recall around that time at least 2 or 3 different people came up with the idea on the U.S. Military forums simultaneously, there were several topics about it.
@Tiacha: we repaid everyone who purchased bonds in the last go round with interest as long as they filled out the proper form when donating. I'll check the records for your name as well.

Sounds great, but I'd need a guaranteed date of maturity.
Also, contract would need to be signed/secured by citizen such as POTUS...don't expect admins would 'ban' whole gov't.
