Majester concedes to the Revolution

Congratulations to MollyJo. I wish you every success and hope you show your detractors up.

Some say I do not say enough. I said my opponents have said more than enough.
They said I failed because I did not say enough. The opinion is noted, but the results are way too close for that particular conclusion.

Winning an election has many factors, but ultimately boils down to party support, personal appeal, and fears vs hopes within the community. Articles may articulate positions, but they have a hard time swaying opinion, if at all. Just as you say regular players do not read the forums, I tell you that they do not read the media either.

How am I so certain? Look at the article Vote button vs the number of ballots cast.

What I do know with certainty is that the result is too close for comfort. MollyJo's only fortune is that she has a ARP Senate to back her in a clearly divided nation -- so one less battle --- and some hopefully enthusiastic new blood to keep the momentum. If I had won, I would have faced a hostile Senate in return and the troll-squad in full force undermining everything government tries in every channel they have access to. Why would it change after 6 months of blanket negativity and running Aus down internationally if I was elected? Its actually going to be fascinating watching them having to troll themselves.

I did not back down from that reality because I have succeeded in uniting Aus in victory despite APP, and ANP before that. Its a dreary battle I was mentally prepared for going in -- so a non-issue. I am glad for MollyJo that she won't have to face it in her first run. Nothing is more depressing that logging into negativity and self-destructive behaviour.

ARP have all the balls now and are fresh out of excuses. You have inherited a society you helped forge. You hold the executive and legislature. You have the Prime Minister and the Speaker. Australia now waits with baited breath for this promised revolution so long in the singing.
Time to deliver on the rhetoric.

Insisting that our written Laws are adhered to is not undermining. So long as the Govt plays above board all will be well. I also answered Molly's ticket, proving that I would not penalise her by not doing my job there.

congratulations to the Revolutionary Party on winning the government but yes as Majester said it's time for you to deliver. i only hope for the non ARP elected congress people their role in keeping government accountable is respected. good luck
