This is also a potentially significant opening for diplomatic efforts encourage a neutral Latin America in the wake of the demise of PEACE. Even before PEACE's end some of these nations demonstrated a desire that their regional alliance. the ALA, become clearly neutral. Officials in some nations even expressed positive feelings toward the eUS.
