Lulz Proposal

Day 978, 08:49 Published in Israel Israel by Jewyoyo
Unsurprisingly, there has been some commotion regarding my recent president impeachment proposal. Some were saying it was 'for the lulz' as proposals made by congressmen in the end of their term usually are. Still, others decided to cast it as an 'irresponsible overreaction'. Now you get to hear the truth...

It was for the lulz!

Yes, I linked to my "baseless/groundless/nonsense" article in which I asked the government to start providing us with MPPs (shame on me!). I wanted more people to read that article, especially congress members, this is true. But no one should think that I was actually trying to remove Mr. President from office, that's a bit ridiculous. If anything I impeached him because I trust him and I'm not worried about him doing anything actually impeachment worthy within the next week. Plus I shouted that the impeachment proposal was for the lulz to try to avoid misunderstanding.

I impeached the president because I wanted to use my proposals and was too lazy to find another law proposal type that wasn't already being voted on.

Guilty as charged.

But does it not reflect poorly on the current administration if our head of state would rather make articles criticizing what should have been an obvious lulz proposal instead of addressing the IMPORTANT issues raised in my article, which was supported by many eIsraeli citizens? Our MoFA was kind enough to explain that "things are not that simple" but something of a bit more substance would be appreciated.

Thank you,
