There is a new generation afoot.
Since I was born some 70,000+ new citizens have flooded eRepublik. More than 12,000 citizens have joined the USWP. Old beta giants are self-effacingly dying out. It truly is a new world. And, it is in this environment that I choose to run for congress in the great state—our fiftieth—of Hawai'i. For, I see this new era as a very distinct opportunity, rather than an excuse to lament the fact that eRepublik isn't a secret anymore (as evidenced by AndroX's avatar). It must be part of an overall sense of unease at the realization that the only reason these beta giants are so "giant" is because they managed to register on eRepublik when "No Country For Old Men" was released (Dio Brando anyone?). That's it. I've put the numbers together and solved the great v1.0 sudoku puzzle.
It really is quite simple. Our government is populated largely by these beta giants, or by their sympathizers (you can usually tell them apart from the rest of us by their lack of Hard Working medals). They tend to run things whilst rooted within their bubble of laurels. Scrabman, I should qualify, is set apart from this crowd. He is incredibly involved, having worked every day of his eRepublik life, and he has governed the USWP and the nation at large with a level head. Take the two before him though; Justinious beats his accomplishments into your brain with every article he writes and Uncle Sam is going on a veritable Cher-style farewell tour, sobbing and all.

So, what can I say about myself? I've been on eRepublik since Friday the 13th of March and I've worked and trained every day since; which is very important, by the way. The clearest and most telling factor that every voter should be able to see as to why this president is so much better than the previous two is that day-to-day dedication. To me, that's the cornerstone as to what sets one apart from another in our country. Oh, and another thing... I stick with my own party if only so that YOU the voter know who I am. I remember when Uncle Sam would switch from Conservative to Libertarian to AAP and it bothered me. Of course, now I know to chalk it up to the aforementioned blind/pure ambition that drives one to do whatever it takes to get a medal.
In addition, I don't have any mischievous ties with beta giants or shadowy organizations like Umbrella or Capital Bank. My own organization, Orchid Worldwide, is based out of Hawai'i. Other than my strident support for scrabman I am deliberately independent on the issues of congressional philosophy. If you want insight into my RL politics then take a cue from my avatar.

If you vote for me you can count on a willful effort to make sure an intelligent voice is heard in the crazy discourse that is our congress. You can be sure that I won't go inactive and I won't use my position to further my own ends... before defecting to Poland or Singapore.

I got 3 so not a Beta Giant? I have been around since beta but was not a "Giant" back then just a two clicker.

To better clarify, "beta giants" are those who allow their ambition alone to guide them. This is why they usually have about as many Hard Working medals as they do Super Soldier medals. They also tend to frequently refer to themselves or their crowd as being "beta giants." With that said, best of luck to you too.

You put forth a compelling argument and I am more or less inclined to agree with that you have said. If I was in Hawaii I would certainly vote for you.
Changewillcome, I am greatly surprised..as AAP's leading figure, surely you should set an example to your junior members by creating an outstanding manifesto? What I see are just a few lines which supposedly indicate your strength in Congress. There's no substance to what you have said, it needs to be far more developed if you wish to earn yourself a deserving victory.
Manifesto? Are you asking that we change the AAP manifesto? Seeker1 has made a new one.
If your asking that I make a manifesto for reelection then just look at my newspaper I posted my platform 27 days ago which was much lager then the last article that was more like a recap what I am like. I didn't repost the platform because that would be spamming.
I imagined one's outlook on political matters to change over time. It seems not in your case. Accept my apologies 😉
I would only vote for him if he agreed to protect the National Hawaiian Kitten Sanctuary from being demolished. He should save those kittens, if elected into congress, so we can surely have ourselves a bright, feline-filled, future.
