Sveiki, tautiečiai!

Šiame straipsnyje išvysite:

1. LK Elite avatarų konkurso rezultatus.

Pradėkime nuo linksmesnės dalies, konkurso:

Vėluodamas galiausiai skelbiu rezultatus. Vėluoju dėl kelių priežasčių – savaitgalį buvau Vilniuje, o sekmadienį straipsnio išleisti nebespėjau, nes per vėlai grįžau. Kita priežastis būtų, kad norėjau, jog kuo daugiau žmonių balsuotų, jog gautume tikslesnius rezultatus. Na bet čia gan juokingas pasiteisinimas 🙂 Balsuot galėjo visi norintys, galima buvo paskirstyti po penkis balsus. Rezultatus galite matyti čia .

Pirmą vietą ir 38000LTL bei 6 auksinius laimėjo 16 balsų surinkęs Nf1X kurtas avataras

Antrą bei trečią vietas vietą bei 20118.1LTL kartu su 4 auksiniais laimėjo pararam kurti avatarai. Antra ir trečia vieta.

Let us turn to the latest events in ABC.

My perspective:

As you all know, Lithuania has lost Dainava, one of its original regions. Not only that, but Lithuania also gave Latgale back to Latvia. And that has proved to be a rash decision that wasn‘t clearily discussed between Lithuania and Latvia. I am very sorry that I was not able to do my duties as ABC‘s BC, but I had basically no internet connection and when I finally got the time to read about what is happening I was shocked. Lithuania decided to give Latgale back without talking about it with Latvian representatives. Before the war with Belarus began I personally spent a few hours discussing the pros and the cons of the Lithuanian – Latvian region swap. Gudrinieks wanted to divide Belarus among Lithuania and Latvia, but as we knew that we won‘t be able to hold Belarus forever, that it would be extremely hard to get Latgale back to Lithuania we agreed that this would be a shortsighted decision. In the long run, it is better for Lithuania to have Latgale and for Latvia to hold Samogitia. If I had been there during the discussion, I would have tried to convince people that it is not the best option, but I didn‘t have the time to do that. That was a mistake from my side; I hope that this will not happen again. I would like to clearly state that Samogitia will be left to Latvia. Any Lithuanian that is seen fighting against Latvia will be considered as a traitor.

That is my stance and toughts, feel free to express your own opinion. Now, the English version of an article that Lithuanias CP published.

Latgale

"Why are we giving Latgale back? It is hard to explain it now and at the same time prevent it from looking foolish, but those, who participated in the discussion, should understand the atmosphere better. We gave Latgale back for two reasons:

1. After things got tougher on the Belarus fron we can no longer afford to waste our influance in the never ending RW‘s. We waste our influence there very often and in big amounts.
2. It was hoped, that Latvia will attack Belarus and take their fruit. Unfortunatelly there was a lot of miscommunication. Being naive I hoped that MoDA has already talked with Latvia. Therefore, I did not make any attempt to inform the Latvian side about our plans. The Latvians turned my talk with their CP into a NE proposal for Lithuania, accusations, that I am pushing them to go to war in exhange for Samogitia, that I am blackmailing and setting an ultimatum. It is a shame, since I did not have that in mind. Knowing my character it was more like beginng and nothing like blackmailing.

Anyway, we gave Latgale back and we hope that Latvia, that has tought of some plans that are for now secret. It wont be a tragedy, if they decide not to help, we are strong, we know how to negotiate – we will find a way to win. Just enjoy fighting, we will find a way to get Latgale back, but we are not go and seek for revange by taking back Samogitia just because we gave Latgale back.

I take full responsibility for this decision. I just have to add, that MoD, vMoD, the leader of the Lithuanian Army and MoFA participated in making this decision. I‘m not blaming them, God no, but I have to clearily state that any decision is better than no decission. But most likely we did not have another option at that time."
