LG is back to save the BEP and has brought the awesome sauce!!

That's right people, LG - 2 times BEP President, 3 times London Congressman, former Vice-Chairman of the London Regional Council and all-round political animal is back in the game!



While I was away...

...The British Empire died?

A few weeks ago the BEP was wiped off the map and removed from the game - maybe it was an accident, maybe it was a hack, maybe it was the Admins having a laugh or maybe it was the action of a disgruntled and rogue few within.

BUT NOW THE BEP IS BACK IN BUSINESS, The Empire Will Strike Back!

To this end, I am throwing my hat into the ring for a 3rd term as BEP PP. I intend to shake up the party and pull it back into shape with the following 3 policy themes and goals:

1) The BEP will remain the party most full of this:


2) We will stand by our motto of "FUN, COMMUNITY & CONFLICT". I have always believed that it is too easy for the new citizen to become lost within the system. Military and regional communities are the only means of ensuring a family feel to the forums and game. Under my watch, the BEP will be reorganised along regional lines to create a local support and communications network, as well as create regional BEP communities. With this structure in place, we can continue our march into Government through better organisation and participation.

3) MOST importantly, I will ensure the British Empire Party will represent the only credible political alternative for the majority of eUK citizens.

The TUP, UKRP, RFA, FDP and PCP are run by groups of individuals who are focused far too much on the creation of pointless forum-based "legislation". How many ordinary citizens actually care about the "House of Lords" or the Monarchy Act, or the Provisional Government Act?!?! Seriously, if you want to spend your spare time writing "legislation" like this then please go and be a civil servant or a Real Life MP!!!

This game is about meeting & making friends, fighting other countries, having a laugh, self-improvement and maybe getting a grip on economic theory (for those of you who run a company or are financial traders).

Politics in the eUK is too dependant on lame forum activity. If you support any other of the big 6 parties, then you are by extension validating their view of eRepublik - that it exists as a means for them to exert control over you and your forum use through the creation and discussion of pointless and self-important attempts at pretending to be real-life politicians.

The forums are there for fun & banter, NOT for dreaming up clauses & sub-sections and daft procedural rules!
