Let Them Go, Boys

Day 2,157, 16:14 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

After months of occupation, a deal between three of the most powerful nations is reached. A nation gains three regions back while another shifts its focus back on Europe.

A DAYS REST

The US has come to a peace agreement with Poland. The US has agreed to pay 1 million cc to Poland for returning its "core" regions, including Mexico's "Baja" region. There are 13 regions to remain under TWO occupation for the remainder of the treaty. The US and TWO had gone back and forth on American soil for months, coming close to a treaty once Mexico and the US pushed Serbia and Hungary out of the continent. Now that a treaty has finally been established, the eAmericans will focus on the rebuilding their nation.

LET THEM GO, BOYS

Ireland has gained all three of its previously occupied regions from the British in its training war. The war started when, against the word of the UK's executive, the British congress executed an NE against the Irish. The Irish then responded accordingly. Given the UK's higher priorities, the British cabinet quickly established the war as a training war. Much of the British public has taken the war seriously and refuses to accept those conditions, however due to support from their allies and impressive military planning, all three resistance wars were strongly won by the Irish. Questions still remain as both governments look for peace terms to end the war.

SHIFTING FOCUS

Poland has once again prepared an invasion of France. Amidst a heavy warzone in Asgardian territories, France NEd the UK to support its northern allies. There were rumors that after resolving the war with the US, Poland was going to focus its efforts on the war in Oceania, however instead they have responded to France with an NE of their own.

MY CURRENT MISSION

I'll be fighting hard for Ireland, though division 4 is only a few days away at best. I've been continuing my citizen recruitment campaign will little solid progress, however I haven't given up just yet. I will try to continue the Legend of the Month and "New Leaders" article next month, as I've missed the last two due to RL setbacks. Lastly, I would like to inform fans of punk rock, and/or Irish music that the guitarist for the Pogues, Phil Chevron, sadly passed away last week. RIP.
