Let's Talk Chutley - Some New Terminology for eRepublik

LET'S TALK CHUTLEY







I’ve noticed that there is a complete lack of eRep-specific terminology. Yes, people say things like “FTW,” “Votado,” and, if you’re INCI, the oh so flattering “I did not read;” but, we have no community language. We need this. We need to be more insular and be able to say things to each other that no other person would know. We need terms that bind us together as one happy family – like this one:







I, Chutley, aim to fix this. So, I am proposing the following five terms and, because I am a narcissist, they are all Chutley-related. Enjoy. Or don’t. It’s up to you:





Chut Bump

- verb

1. A promotion of your article by me, Chutley. Personal requests via shouts will be considere😛 @Chutley, please chut bump my newspaper.

2. To pimp one of Chutley’s articles, ex: I’m chut bumping Chutley’s sweet ass new article. Check it out here: link.”

Chutting-out

- Verb

1. Going nuts on erep: Yo, have you spoken to Johnny McDoerstein recently? He’s crazy now. Guy is completely chutting-out.





Evil Chutley

- noun

1. A sadistic and unfriendly version of an eRepublik player who is usually nice and, occasionally, comical: Hey, stop being such a dick. You’ve gone all Evil Chutley on us.





Charticle

- noun

1. A completely inane article: I wrote a charticle today. It’s mildly funny.

2. A description of an article that indicates that it is entirely ridiculous and only somewhat worth reading,often placed in the comment section: Yeah, I read this, but it’s totally a charticle.





Chutism

- noun

1. Any of the above terms: dude, you use way too many chutisms. Or: what the hell is this article? You really think I’m going to use any chutisms?






Please feel free to use these terms as often or as rarely as you like. I will also take suggestions for new terminology, not necessarily Chutley-related, via comment or PM. If there are enough, I will showcase them next article.
