Left-wing Coalition - The Red Team
Major Lee Hung
With 46 members between us, we expect to take a total of 38 votes in Socialist Revolution this month, making up for around 30% of senate, or 10 seats. We're glad to have support in this glorious revolution!
The left-wing will prevail soon...
Senator Policies
So, what do our senators stand for this election? While we can't speak for our communist brothers, the Socialist senators will be pushing for the foundations of a socialist society. More government-run schemes, slightly higher taxes with increased central spending and more integration for government-run military. Laws will be strictly followed and the forums will be mandatory.
How goes the Revolution?
We continue to push with our growth, gaining 9 members in just two days. Every day, more join the revolution for countless reasons. Soon, the underheard voices will be playing out through a loudspeaker on a streetcorner near you...
It's never too late to join the revolution and change eAustralia for the better!

wowsers is there any place for philosophy in a game i thought it was all fun talk about being serious
Voted, shame you didnt use any more pictures of Lenin from his glory days to help stir communist feelings within eAustralia...
...i still remember him taking Muhammad Ali to the last round in their world title fight in the early seventies at the square garden. Both were true sporting greats
Wow, that sounds cool. Leftist coalitions are always great. Good luck in the elections, comrades o7
remember to crown Woldy King officially once you win :3
Assassinate him done deal :3
though I am no fan of extreme left wing party's (communists) something needs to be done. though perhaps your party's should consider becoming more centrist (i.e become left center instead of left) so that and you will gain more votes than you would ever expect.
I would certainly prefer this nonsense stay out of eAustralia - I certainly can't wish you success. I don't think I could stay in a nation run by socialists/communists (even just if its silly roleplaying).
you do realise they are talking about social policies not economics right?
furthermore this game doesnt have real economic or even social left or right, its not a good enough game to have it.
i wouldnt read into it is roleplaying and 99% of eAussies wouldnt even care or know about it.
short of being highly active on the forums nothing would change
side note however, a government run military and raising taxes are silly policies, but whatever the people want, its up to them
if your friend wanted more government control IRL would you stop being his friend? thats basically what you are saying when you say you would leave eAus if they won. its just stupidity
I would rather not live under a regime fashioned after a philosophy which I consider immoral.
You are welcome to consider that stupidity I fully support your individual rights (something that socialists/communists certainly do not) even if I disagree!
At the very least, perhaps an exodus of citizens might lead these roleplayers to do some research into the ideas they are jokingly supporting! It never hurts for people to learn more 🙂
Ace M. Tokens-Ruins, do your research before posting... 🙂
The basic idea of socialism is to create equality, and put the power in the hands of the people - not just the rich which is a fundamental of capitalism. Tell me... where is the immorality in that?
It's sometimes a little worrying that people still believe the cold-war propaganda created by USA when they were on a crusade to promote capitalism. Such propaganda died out decades ago now. Rad books, research political beliefs, be your own person and not the product of capitalist propaganda. 🙂
Democratic Socialism is one political belief that's succeeded in modern times - liberating the millions of workers from the perils of pure capitalism; just because they weren't born in to a wealthy family and are considered, in the west, to be 'inferior' as a result.
Democratic socialism is no doubt the reason you aren't working 16 hours a day in a dirty factory, not knowing there's a better life available. Why would you end up that way? Because you weren't born in to a rich family and will never be given a chance.
Look at the unemployment rates around the world, the growing corruption problems, the inequality. Look at all of those people who suicide each day because they have no money to live and can't continue to pay back the ridiculous interest rates to the rich, while some individuals have more money than entire countries alone. Companies that are able to create wars because their profits are starting to fall. Is capitalism really much better?
Im guessing Ace never wants to go to Europe or even the USA, free healthcare FUCKING SOCIALISM
good thing Australia doesnt have all that........ oh wait we do
Are you all forgetting Mao and the great nation of China?
Maoism was completely different to other forms of Socialism which we base our beliefs on. He believed in putting the power in the hands of the peasants rather than the workers which is one fundamental difference. The rest was based on his own adaptions of socialist texts out at the time.
Meh- China!
"Where there were draws, candidates were ranked based on experience points"
Goddammit Dr Hugh Jardon
You're still in basically 😛
Sorry DH
