Latvia kicked out of Phoenix (111th issue)

It's 39 minutes past midnight now in Latvia. 35 minutes have passed since the North European country has been expelled from Phoenix. But let's start from the beginning.

LOOTING AND WARS
The Republic of Latvia was established on April 8, 2009. Because of the large amount of money in its treasury, takeover groups from Canada, Iran and Indonesia came to steal it. They succeeded and received 1 000 gold and 100 000 Latvian lats. They left, so the president was a RL Latvian and got access to an organisation which contained 50 000 Latvian lats.

After a month of building a new country from scratch, the Finns declared war on Latvia and, while returning Leningrad and Moscow to the Russians, attacked the Latvian region of Latgale (as a platform for possible future moves) and then captured the high grain region of Zemgale. After a babyboom, which increased the population number from around 100 to over 4000, Latvia joined PEACE and the Hungarian Army helped liberate Zemgale (Latgale had already been given back by Finns).

JOINING PHOENIX
Latvia stayed in PEACE until the alliance crumbled in November 2009. The Minister of Foreign Affairs at that time, Nameisis, organised the joining of Phoenix. When he later became the Minister of War, Latvia had the best damage per population ratio in the alliance. He was also a part of the alliances Emeritus.

FUCKING UP
In May, tensions rose between Latvia and Estonia (this is another story which I might tell you another day). Anyway, Latvians trolled in the Estonian press, Estonians trolled in the Latvian press and people urged the president Kaspars09 to attack them. At one point he did do that, but then said that if he would attack Estonia, there would be no going back. So after the alliance started a voting on whether Latvia should be punished, he started trolling in #ihs and was banned from it for a while.

Due to Kaspars' undiplomatic attitude, Phoenix announced that Latvia has to sign peace with Estonia and pay 300 gold to the Phoenix Treasury. End of story? Not really. The presidential elections came. There were many different candidates, one of them said that he could negotiate better terms for the punishment and possible even go out unscathed. He also said Estonia shouldn't be attacked anymore. He finished last. The winner said that Phoenix won't get anything and put conquering Estonia one of his campaign goals.

KICKBAN
Although he was criticised a lot for his radical behaviour, among other things, his supporters have a majority in the congress and therefore the impeachment on president Amakatanav failed. Kurzemes Karalis Kristaps stepped down as the SC of Phoenix as a sign of solidarity with Latvia. In the end, the following was easy to predict:
