Let me just get things straight here:

If you believe somehow that we could hold deer down against a co-ordinated asgard then you are incorrect. I put CoTD on the deer from the first round and we still lost, there was no giving up: we fought hard for what we had previously.

So, first you accuse me of giving up deer and then the moment that I NE to work towards getting it back you say that there is no support for me doing so? You cannot accuse me of BOTH giving up deer and then saying that, when I attempt to work towards getting deer back, that I am not getting support at all in doing so. Part of my manifesto was to keep the bonuses that we have, and I have been working hard in not just keeping our current resources secured but also working on new ones that we could get (this will be in my CP article tonight).

If you are somehow implying that I am doing nothing to stop asgard then you are wrong, I have worked with Sirius to ensure alliance priority on Ostlandet, which I remind you is part of the bridge we have to get to deer. If I had no congress support to do this NE then the NE would never have passed would it? If you are claiming that my Foreign Affairs work is terrible, then I guess ensuring the UK joined Sirius and taking a job as deputy Military Commander shows that I have done nothing at all.

from what i read in the congress PM thread, you ran away from Swedish supposed aggression. We could've NE'd them in retaliation, but no, you asked us not to. And like Bohemonde4 you chose to deliberately RW a region to close off a looming war. Correct me if i mis-read those actions.

You did NOT explain to us, certainly not in the PM thread I'm in, that it was some "Grand Plan" to retake it at a later date.

Also, you seem to be taking credit for a foregone conclusion that the eUK would follow ePoland & eSpain into whatever alliance they chose to create.

Let me say something quickly about good military plans, they are done on the fly and are changed by new information. Military planning has always been the CPs department, you really want me to run my decision making process by 40 people every time I want to do something and vote? That would take days to make simple decisions that I can make on my own. The original plan was to withdraw and regroup and decide what we wanted to do from there, yes. You are wrong however about who started the RW, that was asgard and not the eUK. We fought back in that RW as well as in sorlandet 2 days ago and today in vestlandet.

People suggested various different strategies as you can read yourself and, rather than waiting around for a poll while opportunity closed itself, I decided to launch a NE proposal while asgard were RWing our norwegian regions. If you want me to say that the plan changed, then OK: the plan changed Neil. If congress didn’t support the plan then the NE would have failed, you cannot claim that I don’t have support for this war when the vote was 30-2.

I am taking credit where credit is due Neil, I am not saying I got Sirius into the alliance myself. I am saying I made sure we got into Sirius and that, now, I play a role in how the military side of the alliance is done. If you believe that that doesn’t show me talking with people in foreign countries to ensure that we have support in the battles that we need then you are just wrong.

Yup, confirm that we started the RW. Sorry about that though, I understand you "really" fought hard for it.. Maybe we pay you a visit in London soon and sort it out over a cup of tea 😛

You might want to reconsider your choice of terms. "A lame duck is an elected official who is approaching the end of his or her tenure, especially one whose successor has already been elected." - Wikipedia

In fact, CD is barely one-third of the way through his term, still is working with the same Congress that was in place when he was elected, and they have another third of their term to go. It is apparent that the majority has supported him in his policies so far. There is nothing of the normal sense of the term lame duck in this.

Sometimes there is more strategy in the way things are done than is apparent to the average person on the street or even member of Congress. I am not saying what has happened is right or wrong, but I am suggesting that you seem to be leaping to conclusions about it without seeming to have all the facts you need to make a proper evaluation.

I seem to be unable to understand your powerful reasoning. How is it incompetence to ask your own members to give to new players? It seems to me more like a proper concern for the young players coming into the game, and moreover, that TUP does not ask the country at large to do what it is unwilling to do itself. Maybe you could enlighten me.
