If a country wants to issue money it has to pay a tax in gold. The tax is calculated with the rate of 1 national currency = 0.005 Gold. For example: if the country wants to issue 10.000 currency the tax will be Icon-gold.gif 50 GOLD.

The information about this tax is available in the page: "In order to print national currency, an amount of Gold will be removed from the country account. The rate is 1 (national currency) printed = 0.005 Gold."

There is no sell gold option. There is no donate gold option. You print currency you pay taxes in the form of gold. The gold is the tax.

So you can only print an equal amount of currency to what you have in gold

On DAY 3394 lets say we have 1000 gold so to issue money we divide 1000/0.005 it gives us 200000 cc which is the amount of money we can issue on day 3394 with 1000 gold

On day 4500 if gold has fallen to say 220 we can still only print 200000 cc with outr 1000 gold.

However if gold falls below our 200 threshold which is very unlikely we can actually buy gold on the MM donate it to the treasury and issue it at a higher rate

Lets say we have 50000 cc and gold costs 150 cc = 333 gold when we issue it we get 66600 cc.

So the only scenario where we can make money from the low gold price is when this occur

CP RUSTY D finally reaps the reward for waiting for the gold price to drop below 200 cc



However if you take everything that is in the treasury and cash out. There is no treasury and the treasury cannot maintain a rogue dictator as the upkeep fee is 25 gold or 10000 cc a day.

That is the logic behind moving everything out of the treasury. However the treasury is not big so why wait.

The nest egg principle in Ireland has only profited thieves.

With an upkeep fee no thief is however needed but Plato. Plato will each night snuck in your treasury and take 10000 cc from us.

Money we could have used elsewhere.


So please we will not build nest eggs our money will be used for our players. Our greatest single commodity. if I lose a player because I did not spend 10000 cc on him I lose that player forever.



I will always regain the 10000 but the player no you cannot get players to return.

Private players build up nest eggs which they use for the benefit of Ireland. We are returning to a system where a player with only 4 articles in the irish newsfeed almost won the elections. Where he could have accessed our nest eggs and stripped our country for his own gain. And no Rusty you're used here as an example only.

So this insistence on waiting for something that is going to happen that perhaps will never happen is imo
