Kordak fired as VP

Day 2,673, 12:41 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by konnes

Dear readers,

As you might have already heard, the president has fired Kordak as VP. Because of this, I decided to interview Kordak again, together with our current CP, Fhaemita The Apostate.
Interview with Kordak

1. Do you think you are just fired because of this incident, or is there something else going on between you and Fhaemita?
Well I am not someone of conspiracy theories, so let’s assume that this was based on the incident between me and our MoHA. However in the past there have been some fights between me and Fhaemita, especially when I was president of the Netherlands. When I returned to the Netherlands I offered Fheamita help in his government if he was going to get elected. I offered help in foreign affairs, since I have a lot of international contacts since I was the president of Ireland and Head of Public Relationships of Aurora. I also told Fheamita that I would not start about escalations in the past and I hoped that he would be neutral as well during his term.

2. what were these fights about?
Maybe it is good to clarify, but I don’t want to start about this again really. I will try to write this as neutral as possible. When I was president of the Netherlands we made a deal with Poland. They would keep Northern Netherlands, Western Netherlands and Eastern Netherlands so they would have a double passage to their oil recource. In return we would get Southern Netherlands, Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia and the support of Poland. However when we started the attack we were not the only ones, since the UK attacked Belgium as well. Our attack on Belgium failed, since the president of Poland got impeached. The new president of the Poland was not willing to honour our deal so we were in a difficult situation. It got worse when Germany started to attack us, every time Germany took a region from us Poland took it from Germany. So it was clearly Poland behind this attack, but when I asked German officials they said that they did it to help Belgium against us and that they were asked by Fheamita to attack us. In my eyes that was treason, but Fheamita always denied that it was true. So I don’t know who was the one that was lying.

3. Do you think his decision is validly?
The President can decide who is in his government and who is not, from that point of view it is valid. However the president is clearly missing the point how this began and why I involved our congress.

Our MoHA falsely accused me, the vice president of the Netherlands, and Ninapje of being a multie. Based on that he decided to reject her citizenship request, after he already used the excuse that she was not active enough and that there were no passes left.

So it was our MoHA that openly attacked the vice president of the Netherlands on a public part of the forum. I started a topic in congress to put this under attention of our democratic chosen leaders. Not only to question the MoHA for rejecting a RL active citizen again, but mainly for pointing out that I was not a multie. When someone attacks you in public where everyone can read that you have the right to defend your good name before the congress. What if they read that the vice president is a multie aka cheater?

4. Couldn’t this be solved by a conversation on IRC between the two of you?
I wanted to have a conversation between myself, Ninapje and Odan to solve this issue between the three of us and to prove that we were no multie. However unfortunatly the MoHA clearly didn’t want to solve the matter. I got accused again of being a multie, he said that he could type on two IRC accounts to pretend being someone else.

5. Do you regret your complains against odan?
Not a single word, I had the right to defend myself to the community. Also I had the right to inform congress, since they represent all parties and voices of our country.

6. Is this the end of your demonstration, or do you have plans to solve this in another way?
I would be glad to see the MoHA admitting his faults and to take back his false assumptions. He gets away with this without even a single warning from our president while I was kicked out of the team. The president says he decided this because there was a disturbed relationship between me and the cabinet. However I had no problem with anyone, except Odan for what he accused me of. I was working hard to improve relations with other countries and working on a new plan to join a real alliance with our MoFA.

Because of this answer: 'However I had no problem with anyone', I asked WillemTheConqueror (MoFa), if this is true.

So, Willem, is it true that, besides Odan, Kordak had a good relationship with everyone in the government?
As far as I know he had a good relationship with everyone. I even worked with him in the days, before he got 'fired', on a Foreign Affairs project. So no real problem there.

7. But you can still go on with this plan, you don’t need to bee VP to talk with the MoFA, right?
Sure I wrote this plan together with our MoFA, I really hope that the president will take a good look at it and shows it to congress. I can no longer work directly on the plan now, but if our MoFA ever needs help with anything I will be there to help him!

8. Do you think you have a lot of support from other eNL citizens?
I am not going to start a rebellion for this, I am disappointed that I can no longer directly serve the people of the Netherlands. I hope that others see as well how this started and how poorly our president reacted on this matter. He should have told Odan to remove the false assumption and that I should no longer question Odan’s actions after that. I requested the president to dismiss the MoHA for his actions, but he decided to dismiss his vice president instead. I know that there are enough people who find this questionable.

9. Is there anything else you want to say to the dutch people, or the CP?
I hope our people will keep a close eye on certain figures in our government now, they know what is good and what is not. And I want to wish the president good luck with the rest of his term.

10. you wish the president a good term after all thet happened, aren’t you angry at him?
Of course I am angry at him, but our country needs a real alliance to join this month, before it is too late again. I don’t want to see my country damaged, I just want the best for our country. I hope they will get things done this month that are important, instead of me publishing an article at the end of term about everything they did wrong. If they don’t work properly this month it will also make it difficult for presidents elected in the coming months.

thanks you for this interview, and for being this polite after all that happened
Interview with CP (Fhaemita The Apostate)

1. Did you fire kordak just because of this incident, or is there something else going on between you and Kordak?
Nothing else is going on between Kordak and me, the incident and what transpired afterwards is the role reason for me to come to the decision to fire him from his position as Vice President. I think the incident created an unworkable work relation between him and me and him and the rest of the cabinet especially with the Minister of Home affairs with whom he had this incident. Although he has a good job that far especially helping out Minister of Foreign Affairs Willem The Conqueror in something foreign affairs related I do not believe that a the breach of confidence between him and me in his position as Vice President was sustainable. The vice president is there to support the president in his duties and a vice president attacking one of my ministers and later also attacking me about not being neutral in an article comment because I voted up a comment can hardly be seen as being supportive of the president as he claims he is.

2. do you really think Kordak was the only one who was wrong, or did odan make some mistakes too?
On the matter of the incident, where two fight there are two people guilty I am not saying both are equally wrong but both are wrong in a certain degree. Odan should never have said what he said about Kordak and make the claim that Ninapje is a multi without any facts backing that claim. On the other side Kordak should have known better lose his head on the matter and publicly demand from me to fire my Minister of Home Affairs Odan and later asking the same thing again in congress. This should have been kept a private government matter and not be fought out in public. Doing so is just throwing me under the bus and pulling me and my government trough the mud something a vice president should never do. If he felt (justifiably) grieved he should have come to me on the matter. Duking it out in public makes the government seems divided while the country is already divided enough. A government should outwardly show unity even though internally there might be struggles but this should be discussed and solved internally and not be fought out in in public. .

3. Do you think this is the end of this debate, or do you expect any other resistance?
I do not know, the matter if there will be a Motion of No Confidence against against my Minister of Home Affairs Odan is still a questionable, now that I have fired Kordak I do think that he or others members of congress will be more susceptible to start a Motion of No Confidence against me or even against Odan and one against me as Fostite even suggested. Although technically you can’t start a Motion of No Confidence against me only an impeachment. I hope this won’t happen and ofcourse and I am confidence that such a motion or even an impeachment would not succeed.

4. Do you think everyone supports you in your decision, and if not, why do you think they don't agree with you?
I am sure not everybody will support my decision, you can’t please everybody and you will always have people disagreeing even if it is just for the sake of disagreeing. I am sure members of Revolution et Libertas will not support my decision seeing their stance on immigration and their dislike of Iron and Wine members. SKYJACKED a member and congressman of Revolution et Libertas recently brought up the impeachment of GEN. DE LA REY which was more than three months ago. Some people hold a grudge and have an axe to grind so I do expect people not supporting my decision.

5. Is there anything else you want to say to the dutch people?
I think besides this interview I also made a very long post in congress as a reply to Kordak request to fire Odan, I think I thoroughly explained there my opinion on the matter and my reasoning for not firing Odan. I think the congress post including this interview should be enough for people to understand what happening and why I did what I did. I do not think I have much more to add to this.

Thank you for the interview
