Kitty here! Not a happy kitty. AGAIN. Seriously I hate to be in a bad mood all the time. So why you people gotta tick me off? (You people is a very small selection of people so that we are clear on that.) So - I can do math. It’s not a difficult subject. Especially when all I’m doing is adding and subtracting. Cats aren’t morons ya know.
Little bit of info. ATO brought in over 200 votes. Yep. 200. So let’s look at last month's numbers and compare to this month's numbers. We will be combining AMP and AFA numbers towards the end - although a few amp members did vote before they realized the lie they had been leading. I’ll be starting at the top, and working my way down. Oh - and a lot of you won’t like me when we are done, but you know what... That just means I’m right. So guess what? Go do something to yourself that I can’t say.
Feds. Wow guys - y’all did AMAZING. 611 votes in April. 775 votes in May. 164 increase. Go you! Right? I’ll get back to this.
AFA. Last month they brought in 709 votes. This month 494, but I’m sure they were sending some to AMP as well.
USWP. 341 votes in April. 408 in May. 67 votes total. Not a bad little increase there.
WTP. 326 votes in April. 340 votes in May. 14 vote increase. That is not so good.
AMP. 591 in April. 327 in May. A loss of 264. Let’s assume most of those lost votes were AMP members in good standing that voted elsewhere like a good eUS citizen should.
Total! 2578 last month. 2344 this month. WHOA! What’s this?? We lost 234 votes? With all the ATO effort? How is that EVEN possible?
AMP-AFA breakdown. Last month AFA had 709. So basic math - 215 votes were lost from AFA. I’m sure a fair bit of those were made up in AMP. AMP though lost 264 votes. Where did THOSE go?
Now - here’s the part where I upset everyone and get the joys of a mass trolling in my comments.
Feds - I do hope you are proud that you had a member willing to pay to help the nation and make sure y’all got the majority of those ATO votes. Cause personally - I’d be horrified. I’d be repulsed. And don’t dare and try to say that isn’t true, or that it didn’t happen. Because we all know it did. Seems the Fed way of thinking is really going party over nation.. or rather Feds ARE the nation. Sad part - all the people who whisper it in PM’s... all the ones who say it. Probably won’t on this article. I’m more and more proud every day that I am not p/h because it’s not worth the cost to me.
AMP - REALLY? Y’all elected a sleeper serb. Ok - It happened. So y’all just don’t vote? Seriously? What’s up with that? No numbers can explain any other option. Oh I’m sure a few of y’all did... but what about the rest? Why weren’t you voting for another party. Like it or not - the mistake happened in your party. Whether or not that is your fault isn’t even the issue. The issue is.. Country is more important than party. Seems some of y’all really don’t feel that either.
I won't delete what I said because it's partially true I still think. BUT! An AMP member took time to go over more numbers with me. I'm sorry I was WAY too hard on you guys. It wasn't so much a matter of not voting, but more a matter of too late on a lot of this.
In essence what I am saying is - Get over yourselves people. How deep your wallet is.. How much pride you feel.. How much shame you feel.. You are just one person. You play this game with 1,000’s of other people. You probably talk to a few 100 easily. When you decide against the right thing to do - you are slapping every single one of those in the face. Because frankly - everyone deserves better.
EDIT: As I looked over the AMP info I was given - I found another horrifying fact. AFA lost no votes between AFA & AMP. We lost them.

PS - I’ve heard all this talk about how some people think AMP should be kicked out of UNITY. Too bad I didn’t get full names. Because frankly I think you all are just a bunch of power hungry people who jump at whatever chance you get to try and gain more power for yourself. If THAT was clear enough. There is no reason to remove AMP from unity. IF they HAD voted for the serbs. Yes that would be a reason. This is not. Deal with it. Suck up your egos and get over yourself.

My national rank has been improving quite a bit in the last month. Since I don't do much to improve it, I've speculated a lot of people were leaving. Which would be consistent with the vote count.

I believe we have been losing people. Some one pointed out to me yesterday that our numbers dropped from over 10k cits to somewhere around 9.3k(not willing to look it up). So yeah, we defo have less than we used to
You should have included this stat: 1 Year for 5 extra congressmen

Good article.
1. People are leaving the game daily.
2. Certain people aren't going to log their multies to vote when it doesn't directly serve them.
3. Feds paid for votes, and nowhere did it matter how many votes each party got, as long as "unity" got more than the cockroaches did. Why shouldn't they go for dominance?
It is pretty hard to point fingers when we sit around endorsing things like paying for votes nowadays. We can't ask people playing with little to no honor to suddenly be honorable. We aren't expecting it, we have no right to demand it.
If we act like scum we deserve to get squirted in the eye. It isn't rocket science and it doesn't take much math. We reap what we sow. And we've let our community morals and values go straight to the crapper this past year.
tl/dr: Feds had NO reason not to go for the majority. They did nothing wrong. *goes to take a shower*
And let me be clear...I'm disgusted by almost everything going on in this game now, but fair is fair.

1. Regarding the drop in vote totals:
I asked the same question, the government folks told me that vote totals dropped in large part because we had two big exodus movements this month. First, the F&H Romanians left in a pretty decent number, as did a large number of the PTOers, especially Serbs and Spaniards. Plus, admins appear to have done a lot more multi removals this month.
2. Regarding AMP in Unity:
Of course AMP should be kept in Unity. They still have a huge party population. Unity is a meta construct. Their in-game endorsement is lost, but they can still direct active voters. Also, I do not blame them for this oversight. This was a clever long term strategy by Free Area. These things happen. The AMP will recover after the next party president election.
3. Regarding ATO Party Selection:
You are entitled to your own opinions, but not to your own facts. You are fully aware that I sent this exact line to everyone to pick a party: "Please vote for Federalist Party, United States Workers Party, or We The People. This is to help us with ATO."
3. Doesn't matter. Nowhere did it say that each party should have so and so many votes handed to them. If you did the work and earned the votes, it doesn't matter in this case what party they went to, as long as it was NOT a PTO party. It's irrelevant.
I am also very much aware that you clearly stated that when asked you said to vote Fed, because you were bleeding money.
You conveniently leave out the part where I mentioned I was joking.

Yes you do. We all do. But a wise woman once pointed out to me that internal drama does not have to be published in difficult times.
You could have softened the blow on Max who I think deserves a gold star or whatever.
You know - I did my part too. A fair number of us did. It's all part of it - why do we need to reward someone for having money? Frankly we all should be contributing to a bit of money each month for ATO purposes. Something I know Max will agree with. The cost should not be a single persons alone.. FOR this reason.
Fine, we can have congress talk about awarding congressional hero medals after the PTO is gone. They can debate the pixel arrangement for a month and then we can all bitch about gold buyers getting more pixels than non gold buyers.
My point was not that you or anyone else did not do anything. I do disagree with casting a well intentioned action in a negative light while the PTO is regaining steam.
There are people who took no or negative actions. Maybe you should take a look at them.
I notice far more than you think I do. People always write me off as being blind or naive. And.. I don't think you get the part that I don't really care about medals or being awarded. I just get annoyed hearing oh YAY this person did so good - when there was a team. Each played their own part. I don't even dislike Max. I just strongly disagree with what happened. I think people have the right to know. I think this can be used to build things up better. So I said something - Why? Because nobody ever does and everything turns stagnant.

Regarding whether the AMP will be in Unity or not is a question which will solve itself.
As it stands now, Free Area is still sitting pretty as PP. AMP membership has dropped to number 5 in America. Whether non-PTO'ers will feel comfortable staying in this party with Free Area in charge is debatable.
I wish I could say this was a surprise. I was a 3-term AMP congressman last year. Security was non-existant. Control of the party functions was completely half-@ssed. "Ooops, we submitted the wrong party list" the night before the election happened regularly. The AMP was simply incompetent. It's not surprising this happened. What's surprising is that it didn't happen earlier.
This is simply political Darwinism at work. The AMP was fatally flawed, it let in a fairly obvious security risk as its' leader, it destroyed its' formerly good name with the American people and the many AMP workers who gave far too much of their time to an organization destined to fail, and to endanger America to boot.
I don't have a crystal ball, but I do know that "major" parties (anyone remember the United Independants' Party?) have thrived, withered, and disappeared. This is what I think will happen to the AMP in the next month or two.
Sixth parties? This is your chance. There may be an opening at the table of five quite soon.
