Keep The PTOers Off The Ballot

This is a call to all of my friends in New Zealand and to those who still bother to read my stuff in Canada.

Earlier this afternoon I discovered the creation of a seventh party in New Zealand, which I posted on the eNew Zealand Forums. It is clear that this party, the Free New Zealand Party, is the spearhead of a Serbian PTO. The evidence is clear; the avatars of several members represent Serbian Military units, the newspapers of many of these people are based in Serbia and their writings, both in their newspapers and their shouts are in Serbian.

This party is a real threat to our independence, for all of their talk of a "Free New Zealand." They have expanded from 24 members and sixth place in the rankings when I first found them to 38 members and fifth place (edit: now 57 and third place). The only way to guarantee that they can gain any power however is if they stay in fifth place in the party rankings. And the only way to prevent that is for more people to move to either the sixth place party because it is the most likely to exceed the total number of members that the so-called Free New Zealand Party has amassed. And it has to be done before 11:59 eRepublik time tonight.

I know that there are those who have legitimate arguments against the Provisional Government and the way it came into being. That shouldn't get in the way of acting to prevent what you say you want to avoid. We all agree that we want a free and independent New Zealand, a neutral New Zealand and a New Zealand that will prosper in this game. The way to accomplish this is to put aside our political disagreements and focus on the real enemy, those who would loot this country and turn it into a satellite of Serbia. For, as Benjamin Franklin once said, "We must hang together or surely we shall hang separately."

Finally this to those who are behind the PTO attempt. Go away. You are not wanted here by the people who intend to make this their home. You say that this is a coordinated Brolliance-Eden "plot" that you have to react to. I say that while I came from a Brolliance country (Canada) I am no American puppet or a Brolliance saboteur. I came here as soon as it was possible to do so and I intend to stay unless it becomes apparent that the will of the people who want to really build this country is being ignored by people like you. I support a Neutral New Zealand that won't sign up with any alliance unless we're pushed by aggressors. I want the best for this new country and YOU ARE NOT WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS.
