Kaz for Congress!

Day 944, 15:05 Published in USA USA by Kazeal

Hello lovelies!

I'm running for congress. Again.

With V2 coming out soon, it's EXTREMELY important to have a congress filled to the brim with active members. The participation of every single member that is able will greatly enhance our preparedness for the hugely changed gameplay that will come with V2. I'm active. I'm occasionally capable of making intelligent and rational posts. I'm running for congress.

Experience:
--4 previous terms in eUS congress
--2 previous terms in eIsraeli congress
--Chair of InfraComm, eUS
--eIsraeli Minister of Finance (2 months)
--Vice Speaker of the House, eIsrael (2 months)
--Commander of the eIsraeli Training Corps (1 month)
--UIP Party President (1 month)
--UIP Vice Party President (5 months)
--UIP Chief of Staff (current)
--UIP Secretary of Elections (2 months)
--Other UIP Stuff

I believe I have more than enough experience to be able to be an actively contributing member of next month's eUS Congress. I have experience dealing with matters of the military, matters of the economy, and matters of politics, the three main dimensions of eRepublik.

My stances on some of the important issues our nation is currently facing:

--V2
As I said, the coming of V2 will completely revolutionize eRepublik gameplay. Every single aspect of the game will be affected. I am in favor of continuing the government's recent efforts to stockpile gold in preparation, as well as efforts to publicize guides for new citizens on how best to be ready for the new game.

--Alliances
I believe we are in a relatively good position at the moment, with regards to alliances. We are not bound and tied down by any official charter, yet we still retain the support of allies like Spain, Poland, and Greece. I believe that this frees us up to make our own decisions about the coming wars in Europe, without being unnecessarily drawn in.

--Activity
Last months congress was chalk-full of inactive members; people ran for the treasure map they would receive upon being elected, and then didn't bother to sign up on the eUS Forum and take part in government affairs. In the UIP, we have a Congressional Whip position set up; this person coordinates with our elected senators and ensures that all are active and participating members of congress. There is a similar position at the national level; I will work to bolster it, and do my utmost to aid in the efforts to activate all senators.

In short, I believe I am suited to serve in next month's congress. I have the experience, the drive, and the activity to do a great job.

Kaz for Kongress!
